Forgot to post this on here. I’m reviewing Suede Liquid Lipstick by Nyx. So check it out. They have 12 colors total in this line. I only own 6 so far. I plan on getting the other 6 soon. I really love everything about these lipsticks.

Update

So in my last video I reviewed Ulta’s promotion bag they are still doing. In it was a eye makeup remover and I talked about how well it took off the make up. Which it does. It’s great. The difference between eye makeup remover and regulate make up remover wipes, is that the eye make up is a different formula so it’s gentle around your eye. It isn’t supposed to sting. Well this is exactly what Ulta’s eye make up remover pads did. For more than an hour. It left my eye red and for the rest of the day they felt dry. Please be careful using these if you continue to use them!!

Lavender’s Skin Routine

So ever so slowly, I’ve been starting to develop a skin care routine. It definitely isn’t as large as Ambiguous’s, but it’s effective. Once a week I use my Pilaten Black head tar. I only apply this to my nose though as it’s the only area really affected by black heads on my face. You need to open your pores up and most people do this by putting a warm cloth over their face. Nah, I like to take my showers at night. (Fight me.) So as soon as I’m done with my hotter than Satan shower, (Which yeah I know is bad for my skin. It dries it out.) I apply the black goo to my nose and wait for it to dry. ( Literally just go about your business. Do whatever the fuck you want man, it will take a hot minute to dry completely.) So after it’s dry, you have to peel from the bottom up. Now if you’re anything like me, this means you have no nails and that shit’s difficult. Do your best. YOU CAN DO IT.  On to the nightly ritual. I work night shifts mostly, which means the last thing I wanna do it remove my make up and all that shit. But you gotta. And the results are already showing. So after I remove all the make up I can. (I just use some cheap make up wipes. I don’t even know the brand.) I take a shower. Rub a dub dub hoes. I wipe down my face with a stridex acne control wipe. I have no clue what they are actually? My grandma bought me that when I was complaining about my forehead breaking out. But oh man do they work. After that, I use my Elf daily face cleanser. rub that it until its a white foam on your face and then rinse it off. Pat dry. Ta-da. That’s my skin care routine for the past couple of days. It’s reallybeen working though and I can feel and see the difference. My skin is so sooth and soft~

Skin Care with Lavender

So I am not one to take care of my skin. That’s Ambiguous’ job. Any skin care related questions can be directed at them. I always thought that I really didn’t need to take care of my skin like that? I’ve had luck when it came to acne, my face is pretty much clear. 

But I wanted to get into taking care of my skin for the future me. So I went onto ELF’s website to buy a contour brush and I saw that they came out with the skin care products. When I first got into makeup a friend recommended ELF to me, because they were cheap but better quality. So I went on a shopping spree online because my local Target didn’t carry as much as I wanted. For beginners, I defiantly recommend this affordable make up. 

I decided that I would start small and buy ELF’s Daily Face Cleanser. I am really liking it so far. It makes my face feel really smooth after I rinse it off. It bubbles up on the skin when you scrub it in, but it doesn’t tingle. I am not a fan of weird feelings on my face, which is one reason I don’t like using skin care products. 

If I still like it after a couple of weeks, I am going to consider buying some of their other products.

Tarte Energy Noir Palette Review

The packaging is alluring. It’s what drew me to the palette in the first place. Aside from the gorgeous color, the palette is sturdy and closes with a satisfying click. It’s small enough to fit in most purses and the mirror is handy if you need a touch-up on the go.

The shadows top row: Full Moon, Charged Up, Dark Drive. Middle Row: Stone Unturned, Up Too Slate, Misty Mauve. Bottom row: Power Plum, Lunar Eclipse. The Blush Is called Unearthed and the highlighter is Crystal Spark.

The shadows are universally flattering and several looks ranging from neutral to smokey can be made from just a couple of the shadows. The matte shades, unfortunately, are surprisingly stiff and can be annoying to blend out, Lunar eclipse in particular. That’s only further emphasized by the smooth, super blendable Charged Up and Up Too Slate. A primer is definitely recommended if you want the best color payoff, especially for the matte shades.

The blush and highlighter are the unexpected heroes. The Crystak Spark is downright stunning as an inner corner highlight, all over the lid, on your cheeks, anywhere. Though the blush looks rather unimpressive in the pan, Unearthed gives a very soft, beautiful natural flush to the cheeks and also multitasks as a fantastic eyeshadow as well. I use these almost every time I put on make up. 10/10 beautiful

At $38 it’s kind of a toss up on whether or not it’s worth it. If you’re in the market for a cool-toned, purple-y palette? Or you have some Ulta Rewards points to burn? Absolutely, knock yourself out. But is it worth it if you’re only interested in a couple of the colors? Eh. Not really. Overall 7/10 Available at Ulta and Sephora.

Milani LipStick

Also at that Wagreens buy one get one half off, I bought two Milani Matte Lipsticks. 

It feels really smooth and creamy. My lips (which are usually really dry) feel like i added chap stick to them? They feel great.

They were both $5.99, but if you have a card with Walgreens you can buy one get one 50% off. Defiantly worth the look. I might have to go get more of the Line’s colors.

MAC Flamingo Park Colection

When Ambiguous and I went to MAC to get color matched for foundation, they asked us if we wanted to make an appointment to check out their new products. Their Flamingo Park collection is so pretty and bright. I only tried out a couple of things because I had to leave to get onto the road for my trip. I tried out their:

Eye Shadow X9 which is a small palette of 9 pretty bright colors. They artist doing my make up used the light green and the blue. I forgot to take selfies but it was so amazing.

I also fell in love with the lipstick she used on me. “Have your Cake.” Since I recently have had a thing for pinks, we went with this bright magenta. I did not leave without buying it.

They have many more colors of lipstick in this line among other things, but these are the two products I tried out. I left without the eye shadow palette, but it took some much ‘I do not have money for this’ for me to leave it.

Lavender Goes To a Different Sephora

I went away for the weekend to a friends house and we ended up going to his mall. The first thing I asked him, “Do you have a JC Pennys?” He dumb ass said yes so I dragged him there to Sephora. I don’t know if they just go their shipment or something, but they were fully stocked of everything my Sephora is usually out of. They had like five of Kat Von D’s Lolita Liquid Lipstick, which my Sephora is always out of. 

So I bought Kat Von D’s Lock-it Foundation, but I went ahead with the deal of also getting her beauty blender. I am one of those people who were like “A sponge is a sponge, if it puts make up on, then it does its job.” I bought a four pack of cheap ‘Beauty Blenders’. Let me explain you a thing. I should have listened to Ambiguous. They tried to tell me but I wouldn’t listen. I was so wrong on so many levels.

The Beauty Blender is so soft. Oh my god. I haven’t used it on my face yet ( I will tomorrow). Back to the main point though, it is so worth it to own at least one of these magnificent little sponge thingys.

Urban Decay’s Electric Palette

Went to Sephora. Bought Urban Decay’s Electric palette.

$49. Not the most expensive palette I own, but up there.

Super cute packaging. Like hella pretty. Even the case is like bam in your face. I love it. 

The colors are so pretty and bold. There isn’t one color in this palette that I don’t like. 

They feel so good. They are super pigmented. The only one I have problems with being too light is the Revolt silver one. It came with a double sided brush and they are super soft. It only took one layer for me to get the color I wanted. I really love this product.
