PENGUIN BUTLER!! PENGUIN BUTLEEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!
Half way through this novel and I find it rather strange that Cha Eui-jae doesn't talk about his life pre-awakening. His parents, school life, nothing. Everything and everyone he talks about is from around his time as J. His aunt, the Director, Jung Bin, Lee Sayoung. His adventures as J, restless days of going from dungeon to rift to back to dungeon, killing monsters, saving people, tirelessly. As if he himself has forgotten that before being the hero J he was a boy named Cha Eui-jae. I hope the situation improves as the story goes on because I really want to get to know the person Cha Eui-jae was before the world was turned upside down.
When your strongest hunter in the country crush deliberately lets himself get kidnapped by shady organisation in the middle of an apocalypse so you have to chase after him first thing after waking up after fainting and dissolve a bunch of underlings at the enemy headquarters in poison to retrieve the fool.
You take meticulous efforts to tailor the finest suit for your bae for his first general assembly appearance and suddenly the world is ending before the meeting is even finished. And you fainted halfway through. And when you woke up bae was gone. And then you hear he went out in disguise to infiltrate enemy camp by getting himself abducted.
So I finally started reading The Hunter's Gonna Lay Low novel and I really hope there's a scene in the future that shows the hunters crying in a mix of emotions for having been served by THE S class hunter J himself for months and not noticing at all. I hope they consider themselves blessed because eating the hangover soup personally made by the top ranker of the country? That's a luxury not everyone would have.
After all these years I have finally come to accept that the heretic of the Vatican was merely plot device and that she is never coming back in the story. The imugi story in Central Plains was the heretic of the Vatican of part 2. I held onto hope of her reincarnation for a long time but I guess it's finally time to let go. You were a baddie I will always remember, princess.
I may not be the most articulate of you but I have just had an epiphany that I am most obligated to share with everyone.
The Wolf's Eye tribe is the Israel of Turningverse.
In Turning the Southerners, specifically the Wolf's Eye tribe, are trying to trigger a sort of apocalypse by hastening the appearance of the rifts all over the world. They are running around disrupting the balance of the world to achieve their goal, which is taken from a twisted interpretation of their religious scriptures.
Isn't that the same thing Israel is doing right now? They've twisted the tales in the Bible into justifying their messed up genocidal ideas. Trying to trigger the end of the world to hasten the coming of their messiah.
There's also the canon description of the Southerners having red skin because of the sun exposure that they aren't originally suited for. I think the idea is that they were originally from the North but were exiled to the South (i can't remember if it was explained in canon) which is almost the same as the Israelis coming from Europe to occupy Palestinian land. So... Yeah...
That is the extent of my observation, feel free to add more if you can think of any more similarities. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

There's this BL manhwa where the uke is a college student and he gets kidnapped by the seme who's his hoobae. The seme locks him up and makes him clean his study or something. Then after sometime he moves uke to the basement and that's when we get the backstory that uke was an orphan who got tangled up with a gang and befriended seme who was the scion of a wealthy family. After the gang kidnaps kid seme uke is terrified and tries to help him get out of there.
That's the extent of what I remember. I can't recall the title for the life of me. If any kind soul knows please let me know. I think it's a newer manhwa, in it's first season as of now.
Reading Turning, with an ML as green as the amazon forest, raises your standards so high that any other BL just doesn't cut it. Every other ML just screams red flag in front of our Kishiar.
Hey, so, I've been thinking and... If Kishiar's method of contraception is pulling out his cum after the deed with his awakened ability, what about the time during his last rut? He wasn't really in his right mind then, so I doubt he'd have had the clarity to think about this. And they say the abilities get nerfed during the heat periods. Guess that's why bro was crashing out right before his rut came. Because he was worried about this exact thing. But here's the thing. Although Yuder said in order for conception to happen both parties need to be in heat, Kishiar and Yuder are still one of the most exceptional case. If the chances of a pregnancy happening in this situation is 0.00000000001%, you bet that number is them. Didn't Yuder fail to learn anything about what happened to them (their bond which he didn't understand at that time) for ~10 years? Meaning, there wasn't a case of an imprint like theirs in the future Yuder lived. I bet that significantly affects one's ability to conceive without being in heat. I doubt Kuyu would go such a cliche way but, the chances of Yuder being pregnant at this very moment are non-zero.
Kishiar sitting Yuder down on the table and going itadakimasu and then blowing him.
So if 1TL Kishiar never took off his gloves, does that mean they fucked unprepared? Or did Kishiar use his tongue to get the job done? Or did he finger Yuder with his gloves on? Or did he only take the uninjured hand's glove off? Or did Yuder have to do it himself? Details! I need the details! In absolutely no universe can I imagine Kishiar banging Yuder without preparing him first for the sizable weapon in his pants. Even if this is omegaverse with canonically naturally self-lubricating uke holes.
In all honesty though, the entire populace of Orr empire and the neighbouring nations should thank Yuder for being the object of Kishiar's affection, because I guarantee you that no woman or man would have been able to take that monster in bed. Like, Yuder is THE strongest Awakener there has been and Kishiar managed to fuck him unconscious. That thing isn't an organ, that's a weapon. A very deadly one at that. If anyone other than Yuder dared to try to take that, they'd die.
I've been wracking my brain a lot thinking about it and it finally came to me today. Kanna's ability is psychometry. Like Saiki Kusuo from the Disastrous life of Saiki K. and Lee Ahn from He is Psychometric. The author makes a mention of the name of her ability nowhere in the story or character profile, so it took me a while to recall the name of the ability. It's been a while since I read or watched those two series so it took me even longer to put a finger on the fact that the ability to read information from objects has a name of its own.
Anyway. In conclusion, Kanna Wand is a psychometric.
Okay, so, um, I am intrigued.
Hear me out for a sec.
Enon can see the soul within a body. He can even see what state the soul is in inside that body. Does that mean when he sees a pregnant woman (person, now that Omegas are a thing) he can see the soul of the fetus in her belly as well? Do fetuses even have a soul? If so, at what point? Immediately upon conception? At birth? Or somewhere inbetween the course of the pregnancy?
I... Am positively intrigued.
Kishiar: I send you on a mission without me and you return with both arms non functional. I leave you behind to go complete a mission and return to you almost poisoned to death.
Yuder: Maybe you should consider always staying within a 5 feet radius of me.
Kishiar: I was! I was literally within that range and you still broke your arms and almost died! Again!
