iron lung is good because on one hand it's like "hey if there was an ocean of blood and we threw a guy down there would that be fucked up or what" but also it's about humanity and the want to survive and the need to survive and what is worth the cost of a life but it's also about the inhuman treatment of criminals and where we draw the line but it's also about simon saying "it's bigger than me" during his self sacrificial act for humanity it's also about "you deserve your freedom. i'm sorry i can't give you that." it's about oh my god i love cosmic horror it's about seeing such an incredibly beautiful and artistic and human and independent film prevail it's about everything and it's about what you are when you're left at the edge of nothing. so yeah the movie is ok

Trans Women (And Trans people as a whole) are allowed to be sad and disappointed Frankie isn’t Trans. What I have an issue with is people instantly screaming Transphobia or Transmisogyny or bigotry. When it’s none of those things. This woman had to fight to put Trans characters into The Owl House. She has a Trans VA on her TEAM!! It just really grinds my gears people are making baseless accusations over her making HER OWN CHARACTER cis.

And no, a Trans Woman voicing a man isn’t inherently Transphobic. Kayleigh seems to absolutely love Sparky and seemed to love voicing him. She obviously knew what kind of character Sparky was before taking the role, and her voice range is incredible (As she’s done more male characters before. AND female ones). This all just feels very nasty.

Even then Frankie being confirmed cis doesn’t stop anyone from headcanoning something else. But no, Dana Terrace is NOT Transphobic. But you can be disappointed Frankie is cis, and that’s valid. My biggest issue is people attacking Dana and putting her post in bad faith.
