what she means: Cyrus’s dangerously low furniture alteration prices in Animal Crossing New Leaf are a reflection of how little artists and builders are appreciated in the real world. His alterations usually average around 100 to 200 bells, and in New Leaf, native fruit is sold at retail for 100 bells. Essentially, you could make more shaking a tree for 3 apples in 3 seconds than he makes refurbishing your king sized bed. If a 100 bell apple costs $1 in the real world, that means Cyrus is getting paid far below minimum wage. Whether its your bed or teddy bear, Cyrus gets paid 200 bells, or $2. Our towns in New Leaf, much like the real world, severely undervalue artist's and builder's work and it makes me sick.
