Long time no see! 

It’s been a while since i posted here last, does anyone even remember? 

I just wanted to stop by to say that i will soon be getting snails again! Im getting two Achatina Fulicia Jadatzi babies after the gal in the picture. They are still teeny tiny, so if you want to watch them grow up, i’ve made an instagram where you can follow them @Noootlife. 

They still havent arrived, and you might not care, but over 6k of you still follow this blog, so i figured i’d ask. Not sure if i will post here again, but maybe!

Hello, yes i am not dead. I still have my two snails, though my mum is the one who has ben bitten by the snail bug now and is taking care of them. I might start posting some more pictures since spring is here now and the noots are comming out of hybernation. 

If any of you like horses i am more active over on my horse blog atm clickerpunk where i blog about my horse.

Some good news!

About a week ago i contacted the GLAS breeder i got Duncan and Dipper from and asked if he had any more for sale. He did and mailed me two more! I've been away most of this weekend and today my mum called me saying that the snails had arrived but they hadn't made the trip and were dead... I just wanted to cry. Then i went home and pretty much avoided seeing them cause i didn't wanna see any more dead snails. BUT a while after i got home mum called me downstairs and showed me the two of them crawling around! :D They seem a bit rough atm but im crossing my finger that they are okay. 

Anyone have name suggestions for the new babies? :D i'll post pictures tomorrow!

Thank you all so much for the kind messages, both these and the ones on my post. You all made me feel so much better <3 

I gave their shells to my sister who loves bones and stuff like that and she'll keep them nice clean and safe which is nice. 

As for your message toxicwren i'll message you back once i know a bit more about import laws to Norway, it's very kind of you to offer me some of your babies and i'd love some of them if the laws allow it <3

Sad news

Yesterday while i was away my mum noticed Duncan and Dipper looking strange and knew something was wrong. She took them out and gave them a shower to see if it would liven them up but sadly it didn't work and they were both dead by the time i got home :( 

I'm not sure what happened but i'm really sad that i lost them both... I want to get a couple of new ones to try again, so my question is if anyone on here lives in Norway and have GALS to sell? It's so empty without the two of them now :( i know they were "just" snails but i hate myself for whatever i did wrong to lose them...

LOOK AT THIS BEAST!

His name is Jack and he’s a rescue. He was found by a lady on the street, in a box with no food or substrate. He’s also clearly had some untreated skin problems in the past. This is a good reminder that all animals can suffer neglect, not just cats and dogs.

He now lives with me and my two younger snails. I just hope that he doesn’t squish them haha.
