Hi lovelies <3 Pride Month is almost here, so I may as well share my collection of Finnish queer songs here too. I figured there's someone out there who'd appreciate it + protect queer art

This started out purely from curiosity (and admittedly a bit annoyed with how anglo-heavy most pride playlists tend to be lol), but I was genuinely surprised by just how many queer songs I ended up finding. I’m sure I’ve still missed some, and I may keep updating the list in the future!

Norway beat Sweden in ice hockey world championships, I'm screaming

#if you don't follow hockey... norway is not an ice hockey nation like on any metric #so the fact that sweden lost to them is hugely embarrassing #i mean this was inevitable having followed the swedish team for the past few years. but man 😭 you should be ashamed fr #norway is already beating you in football and skiing. this was suppose to be an guaranteed win. wtf are yall doing #norway scoring TWO goals shorthanded too omfg

I think Norway has beef with France, while England doesn't care for Denmark. And Iceland, of course, has one-sided beef towards England. I imagine Sweden and Poland don't get along great, either?

the thing about Norway and Englands friendship that I feel like some people ignore is the fact that these two would absolutely trashtalk France and Denmark together at any given moment (Arthur brings the latest tea from France, Sigurd brings the latest news from Denmark)

have you ever thought about making animatics (not animated but storyboard) of your nordics?

I see people doing it with their oc's or favorite characters and it's so cool to see😔 usually with a song from a musical🎼✨

I have seen some over the years and people who make animatics are insanely talented and have the patience of a monk!!

I think I'd rather make a comic than an animatic, but never say never <3 I just don't have any songs or musicals in mind that I could use either, hmmh

While we're talking about SuFin I'd like to remind everyone of this unhinged ad campaign that the city of Stockholm hosted in 2023, where the city was given a deep sexy voice and tried to seduce Finland into coming back

I'm quite happy how I have started rendering skin. These are a bit over a year apart!

I just need to find a sweet middle of the road, where rendering one piece doesn't take me 15 hours....

#obviously they're completely different pieces in function too #i can't possibly make everything look so highly detailed. and i don't want to!#i want to make pretty art and evolve but also keep it casual and fun #i just need to find a style that serves both functions but still looks coherent together
