This might be a stretch but I was rewatching moon knight and I saw this. So, steven has a book on area 51 on his desk.
And steven mentions area 51 to JB here. I've always wondered by he said area 51 and MI6 here, like isn't it more supernatural? (to me area 51 is more alien vibes).
Now my headcanon is that he has a interest in area 51 too. Steven is a conspiracy theorist confirmed. I don't know thoughts are turning or something.
Oh. OH. OKAY. So we ARE desperate enough to start analyzing every single little detail frame by frame now. OKAY. Why didnāt anyone tell me?Ā
No cause here me out! LOOK AT THE STACK OF BOOKS. This isnāt about conspiracy or supernatural or what ever. Bruv. Bruv. LOOK.Ā
Area 51. World Mythology. ASGARD.Ā
Steven lives in MCU. The world knows about Thor. Thor is from a HUGE PART OF WORLD MYTHOLOGY.Ā
So can you imagine Steven when he finds out about Asgard being a real place in SPACE?! Sweet little Steven who is a wonderful man with a SPECIAL INTEREST in a CERTAIN MYTHOLOGY.Ā
If a large civilization had a huge fixation on a mythology that turned out to be a real deal up in space, how far fetched is it to assume that other mythologies might be real? And if they are real but in space, OF COURSE heās going to start reading about aliens. And all alien dives end up in area 51 and other cover up things. Itās just where they go.Ā
Laylaās father was working on the theory that Egyptian gods still walked among us. (Spoiler, He was right). Itās safe to say he probably published a paper on it. Or perhaps inspires others to write papers or books on it. Or he got it from a paper he read. You donāt think Steven would read this and go,Ā āWOW.ā and dream about meeting an Egyptian god? Maybe we just havenāt come across that planet or race of aliens yet.Ā Ā
