magickal snickerdoodles ☀️💘
merry meet! <3 today i made some wonderful and chewy snickerdoodles, and i wanted to share it with you all so heres the recipe :))
✨youll need 🍄🌙:
✨1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
✨1 1/2 cups sugar
✨2 large eggs
✨2 teaspoons vanilla
✨2 3/4 cup flour
✨1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
✨1/2 teaspoon baking soda
✨1 teaspoon salt
cinnamon-sugar mixture 🌿🌟:
✨1/4 cup sugar
✨1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon (love and happiness 💖✨make sure to make your intent clear!)
what to do🍓💘:
preheat oven to 350° f
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla. Cream for 1-2 minutes longer.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, just until combined.
In a small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon.
If time allows, wrap the dough and let refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Roll into small balls until round and smooth. Drop into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and coat well. Using a spoon, coat for a second time, ensuring the cookie balls are completely covered. *To make flatter snickerdoodles, press down in the center of the ball before placing in the oven. This helps to keep them from puffing up in the middle. *
Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Let cool for several minutes on baking sheet before removing from the pan.
enjoy !!!!! blessed be 🌙💘
also this makes an ungodly amount of cookies so this is perfect for sharing with friends!!! <3

Potato Soup for the Healing Heart
One of the things I love most about soup is its ability to heal the heart, body, and soul. A few simple ingredients, no matter how little you may have, can come together to create a whole and satisfying meal. You can dress these creations up or down, add or switch ingredients to suit your own needs. And who doesn’t love tucking into a nice bowl of soup, stew, or chowder?
Ingredients
4-5 slices bacon, diced (optional)
4 tablespoons butter
1/3 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, diced
¼ cup flour
2 cups beef or vegetable broth
1 ½ cups milk or oatmilk/almond milk
2 cups potatoes, diced (mixed small potatoes or golden)
1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Allspice (careful! This can easily overpower a dish)
2-3 large Bay leaves
Cayenne
Marjoram
Rosemary
Thyme
Salt and Pepper
Instructions
OPTIONAL. In large pot, cook bacon (if desired) until crispy. Dice and set aside. Leave bacon grease in pot.
Melt butter and saute onions until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add flour and cook another minute or so, stirring frequently so it doesn’t burn.
Add broth and simmer another few more minutes. Add milk, potatoes, and half of diced bacon. Add spices. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Cook until potatoes are soft.*
Stir in cheese, if desired. Adjust salt/pepper to taste.
Serve warm and with toppings. You can dress it up with bacon, cheese, sour cream, peppers, chives, green onions, etc. It’s up to you!
*Note: Remove some of the potatoes, mash them, and then return to the pot. Cook another few minutes for a heartier, thicker soup.

New Moon + Solar Eclipse + Retrograde June 10, 2021
What does it all mean?!?!?
You have probably seen a lot of TikTok creators saying things along the lines of, “whatever you do, do not make moon water or charge your crystals under this moon,” disregard ALL of that… harness this energy, here’s why.
In most practices (like mine) eclipse, retrograde, and Gemini energies are one of the most powerful energies to utilize. If this is not your practice, then disregard my post, but if it is in your practice, stay tuned.
The New Moon will be in its fullest tonight at around 8:52 EST.
The Solar Eclipse happened on the Northern hemisphere this morning (watch the NASA livestream if you missed it)
Mercury retrograde still isn’t over.
And 3 planets (Sun, Moon, and Mercury) are currently in Gemini.
So, Gemini just endured a solar eclipse, will be enduring a new moon, and has been in retrograde.
So now here’s why this energy is extremely powerful
1. Solar Eclipses mark an intense new beginning. Thinking of it metaphorically goes something like this, “you start off bright and shiny, then darkness waves over you, only leaving parts of your shine showing. That darkness moves on and away from you, and you shine even brighter.” It’s symbolic of intense growth after intense darkness.
2. Mixing in the New Moon’s symbology of new beginnings, planting seeds that will grow, getting clean from the old… this new moon isn’t just a new moon. It has added the meanings of the solar eclipse and turned itself into a new moon on steroids.
3. Retrograde isn’t all that bad. The retrograde didn’t effect any of this. If anything, it made it more powerful. Retrograde gives you a boost in attention, inquisitiveness, talkativeness… some of those can turn out bad or good depending on how you look at them. For example, did you lose a friend this retrograde? Or did you become more attentive to how bad they are as a friend and lose them because of it? This is where intense beginnings can come in.
Who will be most affected?
Anybody. Everybody has Gemini in their chart somewhere, look for it and you will know what areas it has effected you. Also look at your transit chart. Here’s how -
To find Gemini in your natal chart, look at your natal chart, look for the house and any planets in the sign of Gemini.
I have Gemini in my 3rd and 4th houses, with the planets/bodies of Saturn and North Node in the sign. This tells me that the retrograde effects my communication, mind, subconscious, mindset, deep roots, etc. Saturn and North Node being in Gemini tells me that it effects my drive to accomplish, chores, getting things done, etc. As well as lessons I need to learn and get over.
The transits can tell you a little more.
Find where the Sun, Moon, and Mercury are in your transit chart, then find out where those planets are in your natal chart.
Those planets are all in the 3rd house transit, but in my natal chart, the Sun is in my 7th, Moon is in my 6th, and Mercury is in my 7th house… so what this tells me is that it’s effecting my 6th and 7th houses - my ability to work, get tasks done, be healthy, helpful, communicate interpersonally, and conduct business.
But that also tells me that those are areas of open pathways for me right now.
What You Can do to Harness this Energy
Figure out the above steps, figure out which houses this transit is effecting, figure out the keywords of those houses, remember them, and then pick some things off this list to do if you want to harness this energy…
1. Visualization of the goals you have in relation to your keywords.
2. Divination for those keywords.
3. Set goals in general.
4. A growth ritual.
5. A ritual specifically for your keywords.
6. Anything you want to do in relation to any type of growth you want to reach.
7. Charge, cleanse, ward. All of it. Do it all.

Best kitchen tip my Grandma ever taught me
I keep veggie peelings, cuttings, herb clippings and all other veggie compost in a freezer bag in your freezer for up to a month. At the end of every month I dump this bag into my crockpot, add 6-8 cups of water and cook on low for 6 hours. I drain out the veggies and herbs, and viola! You have like 8 cups of veggie broth.
I save things from veggies like: celery, garlic, onion, carrots, kale, squash, parsnips, peppers, etc. Basically any vegetable that would go into a soup, I save.
I also save bits of herbs that don’t make it into other recipes, or veggies about to go bad I have no other intention for. It’s an amazing way to cut back on costs and food waste. This stock can make enough soup to feed a whole family, or you can freeze it if you are only feeding yourself and thaw as needed.
You can customize with herbs and spices now, or when you go to make your soups. I like to at least toss in garlic, onions, a bay leaf, pepper and rosemary to the broth itself.
I havent bought soup broth in years, and I can make sure my broth is salt free or at least low salt!
It’s such a simple thing to do, and its noticable in your food budget.
Witch Tip for Stoners
if you so happen to be a witch that has dedicated themself to a deity and just so happen to smoke pot, if you’re able to a good offering to your deity is leaving your joint burning for a little bit after you’re done so the gods can have a hoot
Unless you make yourself equal to God, you cannot understand God: for the like is not intelligible save to the like. Make yourself grow to a greatness beyond measure, by a bound free yourself from the body; raise yourself above all time, become Eternity; then you will understand God. Believe that nothing is impossible for you, think yourself immortal and capable of understanding all, all arts, all sciences, the nature of every living being. Mount higher than the highest height; descend lower than the lowest depth. Draw into yourself all sensations of everything created, fire and water, dry and moist, imagining that you are everywhere, on earth, in the sea, in the sky, that you are not yet born, in the maternal womb, adolescent, old, dead, beyond death. If you embrace in your thought all things at once, times, places, substances, qualities, quantities, you may understand God
