You should never, to the best of your ability, download and/or install anything on your computer, phone, etc., that was coded using generative AI. I don't even have to touch on the moral reasons because it is, point blank, actually dangerous.
Your electronic devices are just millions of lines of code with a fancy interface, and every time you download and install something, you're trusting that whoever programmed it, 1) knew what they were doing and, 2) is acting without malicious intent.
Something wrong with GShade or ReShade could wreck your GPU. A bad update to a video game could trigger a memory leak with potentially devastating consequences. Data being stored in the wrong format is just waiting to be stolen. Tons of people are right now being listened to or watched via their webcams because of exploits.
And this is with people who KNOW what they're doing. It's part of why historically it was so important to install security updates as they rolled out.
It's also part of why, in my opinion, more so than anything else in the AI slop realm, gen AI-based vibes "coding" is the most despicable because it puts so many people's very expensive computers and very exploitable data at risk. The person generating the code doesn't actually know what the code is doing or how to fix it, and these programs get bloated quickly because any attempt to fix bugs usually just results in Claude or Grok or w/e just generating more code to slap on top of what's already there, frequently leaving the "bad" code intact.
LLMs are also... just kind of dumb? and capable of being "poisoned." Like it's possible to "break" ChatGPT by asking it to show a seahorse emoji because someone on Reddit was convinced it existed in a parallel universe. Imagine what could wind up in published code because of such hallucinations or because someone poisoned the well.
In small hobby spaces, part of why so many people publish directly to github is because it allows their code to be audited by the community. Others who know what they're looking at can come in and verify the code does what the publisher says it does and question if anything looks strange. The end result is that it helps keep the community as a whole safer.
Untested, vibes "coded" programs tossed willy nilly into the ether are dangerous, end of story. Seemingly simple and harmless programs can actually do massive damage though malice or incompetence.
Even if it is from a trusted member of the community, the act of publishing something that you don't actually know and cannot verify what it does is blatantly irresponsible and puts everyone who downloads it at risk.
Again, I'm not here to argue the morality of gen AI, because everyone has been talking in circles about it for literally years now.
But purely from a cyber security perspective: you should never, under any circumstances, download and run a program that is not verified to work the way the publisher claims it should, and anything coded with gen Ai is going to be fundamentally more suspicious by it's very nature.
And I really need to emphasize that I do no think that the majority of vibes "coding" is being done in bad faith. I don't think anyone is trying to damage computers or open anyone up to security vulnerabilities.
But if you cannot parse the code yourself--and I certainly can't, so I'm not judging anyone else who can't--when you download and run the programs, you are putting so much faith in whoever published it that, in the case of vibes "coded" nonsense, they genuinely do not deserve.

Mesh by @phoebe-twiddle, a shoe-swap of the original conversion by @webluepeace.
As a base for my recolors, I used the ones made by @goatskickin, who greatly improved on the originals by adding a proper fabric texture to them. If you want more color options for these pants, like black and green, make sure to get her recolors as well.

EDIT (May 20, 2026): @deedee-sims converted these pants for teens and elders.
EDIT (May 21, 2026): I made repo'd versions for TF and EF of the 4 recolors made by Goat that I recommended above. You need the adult recolors she made for them to work properly. TF and EF meshes by DeeDee-Sims are included. Click here for the previews and HERE TO DOWNLOAD THEM.

@phoebe-twiddle shoeswap of @webluepeace 4t2 SP06 Bottom Cropped + @nosferatusim recolors for teens and elders (requested by anon)
That's a mouthful of a title lol! It's just some nice pants! They have fatmoprh, come in the original 24+9 colors, and you can choose if you want them repo'd to the AF files (that you can find here and here), or not :)
owo what's this? A project I started several months ago?
Yeah so here's a conversion of Elexis' Mooskini swimsuit. This is one of my favorite bikinis in TS3 so I just had to have it for the game I actually play.
You get these bikinis, as either fullbody outfits or top and bottom separates, in 27(!) colors, for AF only. Part of the reason that these had been in my WIP folder since August was that I wanted to make age conversions, but... that's for a later date!
This is a collaboration between me and @nosferatusim, where they very kindly made all the recolors. Additionally, I also got some help from @pforestsims with the layering of the flowers.
Texture-only default replacement of tfBottomCuffsSandals, from Family Fun Stuff. It's a simple edit to remove the different-colored stripes from the sides of the shorts (+ some other changes). Notes, download link and a before-and-after gif are under the cut.
NOTE: This is an update of the default I originally shared on GoS, in 2023. There was nothing actually wrong with the first version, but I did do a better job removing the stripes this time, and there were some other changes I wanted to make out of personal taste. In this new version, for example, the color of the sandals match the color of the belts. You can CLICK HERE to see a gif comparing the old and new versions of this default.

Mesh fix by @catofevilgenius. Alternativelly, this shoe-swap by @rudhira also fixes this issue, and comes with add-ons for ages CF-EF.
Add-ons with new shoes by @whattheskell, for all genders, ages child to adult. None of them are default replacements, so Skell's shorts with sneakers for TF won't change the shorts with sandals from the FFS pack. They're custom add-ons, meaning they don't conflict with mesh-only replacements of the original shorts, like the two mentioned above, and will incorporate any texture-only replacements you have, like mine.
18 recolors of Pantless Low Snekers, for ages child to adult, set as everyday wear only. CF and TF recolors are repo’d to the AF files. Notes, download link and swatch are under the cut.
NOTES:
I originally shared 8 recolors of this mesh on GoS, in 2022, all based on this retexture of the H&M sneakers made by @misomoso-no. Some of them are the exact same as in the original release, while others have been changed a bit, but are still similar enough that I decided to simply overwrite my original upload on SFS;
This time, there are 12 recolors based on Misomoso's + 6 recolors based on a mixing of Maxis' textures for SliqJeans and UniformShirtSliqJeans, both from H&M Stuff;
TF and AF meshes were made by @impishsims from an outfit by Yuxi that used the converse shoes from H&M. I found Yuxi's black recolor to be too dark, so I remade it using the original textures by Maxis;
CF mesh is by @deedee-sims. Like the 3t2 Cowboy Boots I shared last month, I didn't know about the conversion for children when I made the preview pics and that's why they're not shown in them.

RECOMMENDED: @deedee-sims also turned @misomoso-no's original textures into recolors of @impishsims' pantless shoes. Find them here for AF and TF, and here for CF.
Default replacement of ufBodySundress, from Base Game, for TF, YAF (if you have University) and AF. Meshes used on the the full replacement and custom versions were made by @rudhira. Notes, download links and a before-and-after gif are under the cut.
NOTES
I first shared a default replacement of this outfit on GoS, in 2022. Currently, it's by far my most popular creation, and this is why I decided not to discard completely my first version of it. I was really not happy with my first default, mostly because of the ugly recolor I'd made to replace the original pink dress, but I resisted the urge to erase it from existence, and that's why I'm sharing 2 different versions now. With that said, I highly recommend you get the V2 (shown above).
Animated preview pictures of each version are included in their respective download links for convenience.
ABOUT THE DIFFERENT VERSIONS
1. FULL DEFAULT REPLACEMENT:
Uses this mesh-replacement by @rudhira with my recolors. Like in my default of umBodySurfer, I included Rudhira's mesh because I changed the color of the shoes to match my recolors of the outfit.
All recolors of the shoes were made by me, as well as the recolors of the dress. The yellow dress from V1, however, is an edit of a recolor made either by Nilou or AmbientGhould, that I got from a texture replacement by Dearest (couldn't find the original links).
The green dress (aka "CeladonVase" or Angela Pleasant's dress) may look the same as in the BG, but I edited it to fix some issues with the texture. CLICK HERE to see a comparison between the texture made by Maxis and my edited version.
The preview picture above shows the new version (V2) of the full default replacement, but you can see a preview of V1 by clicking here.
IMPORTANT: If you downloaded my original default before today (August 28, 2025) and that's your preferred version of the 2 shared here, I still recommend you download it again because I updated the green dress and the shoes paired with the yellow dress.
2. TEXTURE-ONLY REPLACEMENT:
The recolors are the same as in the full default replacement, but it doesn't include Rudhira's shoe-swapped mesh. It can be used on its own, meaning it'll have the sandals from the original Maxis outfit, or paired with a mesh-only replacement, like this, this or this, all 3 made by @rudhira.
Here are animated gifs of [V1] and [V2].
3. CUSTOM VERSION OF THE RECOLORS FROM V1 AND V2:
Before I decided to share the 2 different versions, I was only going to make custom recolors of V2 + the yellow dress from V1. After changing my mind, I'm also sharing the 2 other original recolors from V1, that is the original replacement of the pink dress and Maxis' blue floral dress with purple sneakers. For these 2 extra recolors, however, I used the files from my original custom version of this dress, shared in 2022, so if you get all of them, they're probably going to show up separate from the other 6 recs in the CAS bin.
CLICK HERE to see a swatch of all 8 custom recolors.
TF recs are repo'd to the AF files.
IMPORTANT: If you decide to keep any of the mesh+texture versions of the default, but would still like to get the remaining custom recolors to have the complete set, you MIGHT also need to keep the separate custom meshes. For some reason, IN MY GAME, Rudhira's mesh replacement doesn't recognize recolors made from the custom meshes. However, she told me she couldn't recreate this issue in her own game, and we couldn't figure out why this might happen. I'm only including this note so that if anyone has the same issue, they know how to "fix" it.
9 recolors of 3t2 Anubis Lucky Charm, originally converted by @tombstoneoflifeanddeath as a full-body outfit, and later turned into a top-only dress by @nekosayuri. These are for ages teen to adult, and are set as everyday wear only. TF recs are repo'd to the AF files.
Notes, download link, and full swatch are under the cut.
First shared on GoS, in 2022, but now updated. I made this then because I wanted TSL&D's original recolors on NekoSayuri's top-only mesh. In addition to that, I made an alt version of his blue dress recolor, pairing it with a different-colored cardigan (shown above).
For the re-release, I also remade TSL&D'S white dress + black cardigan recolor (also shown above). The cardigan in the original rec was too dark, and because of that it lacked the texture details seen on the other dresses. You can see a comparison between the original and my new recolor by clicking here.
Texture-only default replacement of amBodyPajamasDrawstring, from Base Game. Notes, download link and a before-and-after gif are under the cut.
Colors "bluechecked" and "brownchecked" (the one worn by Don Lothario) only had the button removed, while the other 3 were replaced with new recolors. The 3 colors from the University EP were not changed, as I like how they look.

Bottom-only add-ons + gender and age conversions by @rudhira and @jellymeduza. There are similar add-ons by other creators, but this seems to be the most comprehensive set;
Full-body add-ons for TM and EM by phaenoh (MTS);
Edit of the full-body mesh by @letomills, part of a project to make the AM body shape of Maxis' clothes more consistent.
9 recolors of 4t2 Buffy Dress, converted by @platinumaspiration and fixed by @goatskickin. For adult sims only, set as everyday wear. Download link and full swatch are under the cut.
hello! what hair & eye defaults do u use in ur game? plz
Hi :) For eyes, I use this set by @serabiet, but I replaced some of the defaults with other recolors from her custom set (same link). I replaced the dark blue eyes with amber, for example. Because of that, I also have the hazel version of this genetics mod by @simnopke.
As for hairs, I don't have custom mesh replacements, but I have some of @deedee-sims texture-only defaults in Simgaroop, and use hiders for the Maxis hairs I dislike. I also only download cc hair in simgaroop, as that was color system of most cc I had when I decided to only keep one. It's not my favorite color-wise, but because it's a system mostly used by one creator (and a very prolific one), not only they're well made, but very consistent in style and quality.
Texture-only default replacement of tfBodyDressPuffSkirt, from Glamour Life Stuff. Download link and a before-and-after gif are under the cut.
Initially, I was simply going to remove the painted-on necklace, but after noticing that the original black dress was very blurry, I remade it using the teal one as a base. I also adjusted the saturation of the white dress, as it wasn't actually white.

12 recolors of 4t2 SP60 Linen Shirt Pants Pleats, converted by @applewatersugar. For ages teen to adult, set as everyday and formal wear. TM recolors are repo'd to the AM files. Download link and full swatch are under the cut.
I posted another wish on GoS for a mesh I need to be edited before I can share the recolors I made. Basically, there are gaps in the chest area (more noticeable in the "fat" morph), as well as holes on the sleeves (need to be closed off) of this conversion of Sentate's Buffy Dress. Like last time, there's no hurry, but if anyone with the skills and time could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.
