"Ah, yes, I'm Joshua. Me and Viktor exchanged a few emails on your time that will be spent with me. It's nice to meet you Valentine. Just a heads up my team tends to be a bit rowdy."
She shrugs, chewing on a piece of gum before blowing a bubble.
“Eh, rowdy’s not too bad. I’ve dealt with worse.”
They nodded, humming as they thought of any warnings to give.
"Just tell me if they get too much. I know Arctic tends to be a bit loud and talkative. Also if you have any problems with Bliss just tell me. He tends to be an idiot.."
They muttered that last part, rolling their eyes as they heard Bliss complain over the headset.
Valentine giggled, a mischievous look on her face.
“Don’t worry, I can handle myself, but thanks!”
She was intrigued, but ready to meet her team members.
“So, who all is on my new team exactly?”
They hummed, pausing at something one of them said over the headset before shaking their head.
"There are five others. Bliss, he is a flirt and likes to tease. Arctic, he's sweet but she tends to be a bit.. Excited. Statuette is quiet, he doesn't talk much but you'll be fine as long as you don't ask him to remove the blindfold."
They paused, dispatching a case before turning back to Valentine.
"Cupid tends to be really sweet, though they also have a bit of a shorter temper at times.. You should be fine though. And then there is Melody, she is an absolute sweetheart. No real need to worry about her. Though don't underestimate her. She's one of our strongest.."
She watched as Joshua dispatched the call, humming with intrigue.
“Well you definitely have a ragtag group, don’t you Josh? Wonder where I’ll fit in….”
She didn’t mean it in a rude way, though her tone wasn’t the happiest. She was mildly pissed at Viktor for transferring her to another team, no matter how helpful it would be. What about Echo? Or Crash? Hell, even Owl Eyes would probably miss her…
Joshua glanced over at Valentine before reaching up to mute their headset. They could see that she wasn't happy.
"I understand that you don't want to do this, trust me I do. But remember this is a temporary thing for you to learn how to work with other teams. And in-between dispatches you can go see your friends as much as you want."
She leaned back in the chair she was sitting in, propping her pink combat boots up on Dominic’s desk.
“I know…it’s just not the same, ya know? I’m not used to your guys, and no offense to my team, but we’re all pretty much fresh outta training programs. How the hell does your team even work together?”
Joshua let her prop her boots up on the desk, even if they did cringe slightly at it.
"Well that's the point of this exercise, to learn how other teams work together. Sometimes missions require different members from different teams to head out into combat. And if you only know how to work with your team it can lead to disaster.."
They sighed, shaking their head. They smiled softly at her.
"I promise you don't have to worry. You'll find your rhythm here."

He chuckles, tapping out a response.
[TXT]: Hey. As much as I appreciate the offer, I think it's better if we don't let that genie out of the bottle just yet. Don't wanna start any bad habits where I use you as a hangover cure. :P
[TXT]: That's fair enough, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. You seemed to have gotten pretty drunk last night.. I just hope you're feeling better now.
