"General. I think it will please you."
Hux turned around on the chair and almost winced when Poe was pushed on the floor. Dameron's hands were cuffed on his back, so he struggled to keep his balance and almost fell on Hux.
Armitage resisted an urge to kick him. Instead, he glanced down at Poe and lifted his chin with a tip of his boot.
"My my..." He hummed, "You don't look well, Commander."
Dameron glanced up. There was blood on his face, blood and bruises. Hux wanted to strangle him. Bloody idiot.
"General Hugs!" Poe grinned. "Fancy seeing you here!" He winced and coughed out blood.
"Thank you, Galaxy. It's you." Dameron breathed out. "I had a hell of a day."
"Don't thank too fast," he hissed. "What are you doing here, Dameron?"
"Aw and here I thought you missed me... Can you? Um, uncuff me?"
"No. I don't think I will.
"Suddenly you do know my name? Good. It should hurt. Maybe you will finally remember to stop risking your life in the stupidest way."
Poe rolled his eyes and leaned forward, pressing his forehead into Hux's knee.
"I am exhausted," he murmured. "Armitage..." Poe moved a bit closer and placed his head on Hux's lap. "I missed you."
Hux stared at him in consternation. What a sight. Poe Dameron laid down under his feet and acting like a domestic cat. On his knees. Willingly. Well... More or less willingly.
Poe smiled amused to himself and glanced at him.
"Having a power trip of your life?"
"Don't flatter yourself," Hux answered a tad too fast. He sighed and touched Dameron's hair. "What are you doing here, Dameron?"
"Is that an interrogation? I won't tell you anything. Unless..."
"Unless you will give me a kiss."
"Idiot." Hux leaned down and unlocked the binders. Poe groaned and slowly breathed out.
"Thanks." Instead of standing up, Poe leaned closer, again placing his head on Hux's lap. He wrapped his hands around Hux's leg.
"What are you doing, Dameron? Get off. You will get blood on my uniform."
"Give me a sec," Poe mumbled. "I am tired." Poe runs his fingers on the leather of Hux's boots. "Always liked them." He hummed.
"No." Poe smiled amused. He sighed and straightened his back.
"What are you doing here?"
"If this is the only reason you got yourself captured, I will shoot you personally.
"No... ah... I had a... mission, and it went bad. Really bad. And here I am. But I am glad you're here. It's not really your scene, huh? Why are you here?"
"Inspection. Ren sent me away."
"Does he suspect something?"
"No. No... He just hates me. It's convenient because he also thinks less of me, so it's much easier for me to operate."
Poe hummed and slowly stood up, leaning on the desk.
"I have to go back to the base."
"Oh really. How, pray tell, do you want to do that? You can't afford compromising my position."
"Yeah... I have an idea, but first." Poe leaned and kissed him. And before Hux could push him away and scream that it is too dangerous, the door opened and the captain stood in the frame.
"Sir, there is a..." He froze. Before he could comprehend what was going on, Hux had a blaster in his hand. The shot went clean through the captain's chest. Poe cursed, moving back, but before he could turn around, Hux handed him a blaster.
"Guards!" He screamed, and Poe cursed again.
"Get yourself together, Dameron," Hux hissed.
"Guards! Take me hostage."
Poe grabbed him, breathing in and putting a blaster to Hux's jaw. Hux rolled his eyes.
"Harder, Dameron, I am not a teacup."
"Yeah... Right. Alright." Hux rolled his eyes and tried to kick him. "Hey!" Poe grabbed him firmly and pushed a blaster into his jaw. "Stop it!"
"What?" Hux struggled and managed to stick his elbow under Poe's ribs.
"Fuck. Agh... You." Poe grabbed his arm. "Cooperate."
"Make me." Hux managed to take out his dagger.
"Fuck. Hey, no. No no no... You are not serious." When the blade almost cut him, Poe hit him with a blaster. Hux fell back on the desk, wiping out blood from his face. "Shit. Sorry."
Hux let his coat fall down his shoulders.
"Now, Dameron." He grabbed Poe's shirt. "I am the General of the First Order, and you are taking me hostage to leave this place. Act accordingly or we will both die." He touched Poe's neck with a blade. Poe grabbed his wrist and pulled him closer to himself. Hux winced. The blaster pushed under his jaw painfully hard. Stormtroopers ran into the room, and Hux breathed out slowly. "Do as he says!"
Hux leaned on the cold wall of his quarters. He signed when his data pad clicked.
"Yeah? You don't look like."
"It's just bruises." Hux said. He was exhausted. "The investigation is closed. You killed the Captain. Took me hostage and left. I managed to jump out of the ramp last minute."
"You did good." Hux sat down, unzipping his uniform. Poe smiled amused.
"I should have taken you with me. I... I would give up everything to have you here now."
"It was good to see you."
Poe smiled brightly, and Hux thought that he would gladly die for that smile.
