Guniguni ng kahapon ay di mawaglit sa isip kong lito. Puso'y nangangamba na ala-ala'y limot mo na. Bawat sandali na kasama kay ligaya. Tinig mong parang kahapo'y kay tamis sa king pandinig.

Mga araw kay bilis lumipas tila ba kailan lang na ikay nasilayan. Parang tala na nahulog saking harapan. Puso'y di makatulog sa bawat pag pintig ng bawat sandali. Ala-ala mo'y isang bato na ka'y bigat limutin.

Damdamin ko' y tulog ngunit sa bawat sandali na ikay kapiling, parang apoy na nagbabaga. Tila sandali ay lumipas na—ikay lilisan na. Kahapo'y di mawaglit sa isip ko, ngiti mong walang mintis sa ala-ala koy mananatili. Sa oras na ikay kasama mundoy nasa bituin ng mga ala-ala.
