i remember saying “unbelievable” a week before today and i remember you saying “no it’s not”. i know where you were coming from. i knew it meant how sure you are about not leaving me but you must also know where i was coming from. this is something i thought i am not able to do - make a relationship last. i know it’s still too early to say this because it’s just one year compared to other couples who after ten years of being together still broke up. it’s still too early to talk this way because we still have a lot to learn and experience together or while physically apart. i know it takes two to tango but if not for your patience and understanding, we would not still be where we are now. if not for pacifying my fears and demons, we would not reach a year of being together. i have learned through you that i can be not destructive and paranoid if my partner is honest, truthful and loyal.
i am sorry for not being with you physically on our very special day but i hope not being there does not make it any less special. i love you and wherever our souls are planned to be in the future, april 12 will always remain as the day when i have decided to put my trust in you and have hoped that we can make our own forever. happy anniversary, my love. :)
