Matthew Healy from The 1975 performing the 15th song of the night (encore), “Sex” at Varsity Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 21, 2013. He was shirtless due to the pain of the new chest tattoo he had just gotten, dedicated to his nana, at a parlor shop across the street from the venue. I was lucky enough to run into Matty at the parlor shop that afternoon before the show. This tattoo will always be special to me because before I even knew he was in the parlor, I was walking to the coffee shop next to it, and when I looked toward the tattoo shop, through the window I saw how he just stood there and stared at me while I walked by, and then gave me a soft smile.. Right before this picture was taken, he said that he would always remember that street because of his tattoo.
