I have always been fascinated by these âworld of 100 peopleâ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.Â

The reason these work so well is because the human brain is actually incapable of comprehending the actual amount in people in the world. Our mind unassisted can only understand numbers up to a certain amount. Even 83% of 7 billion is difficult to grasp because we know thatâs a Fuck ton, but on the flip side 17% of 7 billion is a Shit load. So our brain realy canât comprehend the gravity of what exactly is the difference one fuck ton and one shit load. But when you take away the percent, remove this gigantic 7 billion number, and bring it down to 100, all of a sudden out brains go âoh! I know what 100 is! I can understand this!â And things are a lot clearer.
Maybe true love is a decision. You know, a decision to take a chance with somebody. To give to somebody. Without worrying whether theyâll give anything back. Or if theyâre gonna hurt you, or if they really are the one. Maybe love isnât something that happens to you. Maybe itâs something you have to choose.

Iâm someone who prefers writing than talking, I believe that when you write, you have the chance to say what you really feel to the other person, you start thinking about yourself, how do you feel when youâre with him/her, youâre being sincere, and when you put that in a text, it can become a beautiful and stunning experience, at least when I do it, I feel like Iâm riding a roller coaster of emotions, a roller coaster that will probably make me laugh, love or cry, at least thatâs what I think, writing is the best way to tell someone that you love him/her.
