I’ve been trying to get these trainers from DC since the beginning of June when they sent me a birthday code and I needed to replace an older pair that was falling apart.

So I ordered, used the code, awaited shipping. Got notification. Waited on them coming. They were coming from Europe so would take a little longer. A little longer went by and shipping on their DPD tracking said delivered. They weren’t. Turns out they’d messed up customs and a whole bunch of orders, including mine, got returned but would get reposted to me and might arrive. Since it was only might get delivered they did refund the order. This order eventually made it back to them but never to me.

I make a second order. By now, they’re on sale and I have a code they gave me for money off to same amount as my birthday code. So I get them cheaper and reordered. It takes ages to get a shipping notification this time but then it’s Royal Mail tracked 48 so all good right? No. That tracking is still stuck “we are expecting your package” DC now confirm it’s likely lost and refund this order too. It may come to me eventually. It may be lost completely.

I have made a third order. They’re at the cheapest price yet. But the universe does not seem to want me to have these cool ass Mets colours sneakers. I want them so bad but it just ain’t happening. Third time lucky?

I finally got these and they’re sick. More neon than expected in the orange but actually love it. Plus they’re Velcro which is a win tbh, even though that’s really cause they’re kids shoes. Kids get all the cool things. But I have small feet so I get these!

Didn’t buy the Disney book cause Donald didn’t meet the other Caballeros in it. Boo!

Christmas will be fun at ours after I got these two records in the discount BHF shop along with the U2 cd for £1. I donated an extra £1 for their summer fundraiser so technically £2. Either way, crazy cheap and too fun to pass up.

Also outside Bailey’s a young girl completed me saying “I love your whole outfit”. It was so nice. The kids are alright. There was also loads of them checking out physical media in the charity shops and CEX today.
