They’re talking about things of which they don’t have the slightest understanding, anyway. It’s only because of their stupidity that they’re able to be so sure of themselves.

Naiinggit ako sa mga taong vocal. Yung nasasabi nila yung thoughts and feelings nila.
Hi
Pakshet nandito na naman ako.
Why am I like this?
NOTE: I saw this draft and I asked myself, who was this person na kinaiinggitan ko? Hindi ko na maalala haha. But yea, I think it’s okay to post this now. Wala na naman sa'kin.
So a college friend (not the kind of friend you can tell secrets to) won in a contest and I’m not happy that she won. I mean, i should be right? At least I should congratulate her because wow, she got the first place! But I’m not close to that feeling, not even the slightest. I know I’m a little sht most of the time but this is one of the things I hate about me. I can’t seem to be happy with the accomplishments of someone I know. It is fck up, I’m well aware, thank you.
So therefore I dedicate myself to myself, to my art, my sleep, my dreams, my labors, my sufferances, my loneliness, my unique madness, my endless absorption and hunger - because I cannot dedicate myself to any fellow being.
Jack Kerouac (via wordsnquotes)
I never realized what a big deal that was. How amazing it is to find someone who wants to hear about all the things that go on in your head.
Nina LaCour, Hold Still (via wordsnquotes)
Not everyone can feel things as deeply as you. Most people, their feelings are … bland, tasteless. They’ll never understand what it’s like to read a poem and feel almost like they’re flying, or to see a bleeding fish and feel grief that shatters their heart…
Juliann Garey, Too Bright to Hear Too Loud to See. (via wordsnquotes)
Before that she hadn’t realized how fragile happiness was, how if you were careless, you could knock it over and shatter it.
Celeste Ng, Everything I Never Told You (via books-n-quotes)
I like people with depth, I like people with emotion, I like people with a strong mind, an interesting mind, a twisted mind, and also someone that can make me smile.
Abbey Lee Kershaw (via wordsnquotes)
