Preparing for concert

How I wish it worked: let me master piece A, then piece B, etc and by the time the concert comes round I'll be rehearsing the small ensemble pieces with the likewise well-prepared ensemble

How it actually works: Exams were a thing, concert is this week, the 2nd violins are still out of tune, half the cello section is half an hour late again
