Fall is an excellent time to start wearing hats a lot more. Why fight with the wind and cold trying to save the hair that you took so long to perfect? Your can of hairspray really should last a lot longer. And you can sometimes look AS GOOD or EVEN BETTER with the right hat. Take it from me. I’ve watched The Notebook a million times and still can’t get over how great Ryan Gosling looks in a newsy cap. *DROOLING* But a blue collar style hat does not necessarily designate a blue collar outfit. With this cap we went the opposite direction and dressed it up for a sporty, layered, Fall look. The tweed blazer gives the hat consistency for an old-school feel. The pants update it with a that “color of the season,” oxblood aka just say burgundy dammit. The dark blue denim shirt adds another “working guy” facet but is once again undercut by the striped sweater that keeps it stylish. We know Ryan would most certainly approve:)
