For so many people, he was Dr. Alan Grant, the calm, clever, quietly heroic heart of Jurassic Park. But his career was so much bigger than one iconic role, stretching from major Hollywood blockbusters, acclaimed independent films and popular TV shows.
Whether it was The Piano, The Hunt for Red October, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Peaky Blinders or even the Marvel Thor films, he had a way of making every character feel real, relatable and human.

His name is Sam Neill ams he passed away at the age of 78 years old. My heart goes out to his family, friends and to all the fans who loved and adored him.
