As someone who did crew in college seeing the boys in the boat and the reactions to it make me so happy.

The coxswain in the movie was basically me. (I was a tiny dictator and everyone loved me on land but hated me on the water.)

The fact that people ship stroke and cox is a joke that every team has. It happenes often. I've been on two teams where the cox and stroke dated. I've been on 3 teams.

The sounds of the boat as it moves was so therapeutic.

The race prep where the cox was going over maps and the rowers were practicing in their room.

Overall it was a pretty good movie. Left out a lot of stuff from the book but it made a movie about a team beating natzis and that's all I needed to finish the year.
