Erm I don’t think I really have any open threads with anyone (at least that anyone cares about lol) but yeah if for some reason you’ve been waiting for a reply I apologize. Feel free to disregard any rps with this account.
i dont care if we have 10 threads together. i dont care if we have 20. send the meme. write the starter. scream in my inbox. lets start another one. we have six ships? make it seven. canon characters? lets give them an au. i want all. the. things.
After dealing with a particularly annoying attorney, Kaz wanted nothing more than to go home and relax. When he heard the sound of sirens and people shouting, he nearly kept on walking. Unfortunately, whatever was happening caused a big enough commotion that a small crowd had formed and blocked his path.
Pushing his way to to the center, Police had been setting up a barricade around what looked to be a car accident. In the middle of the road a white SUV sat totaled, the entire front of it smashed in like it had driven straight into a brick wall. Strangely, there weren’t any other vehicle or building around that appeared to be damaged. The drivers side door was open, where a person lay draped halfway out onto the pavement, obviously injured severely, yet no paramedics or officers would approach.
It doesn’t take long to see why, there’s about four or five bodies of different emergency responders sprawled out around the site. Standing on top of the car is another person, no doubt the one responsible for the whole mess. Probably some attention seeking, wannabe supervillain, Kaz scoffed internally. What a pain.
He glanced down at his hand, the golden lion ring sparkling in the sunlight. None of the city’s typical heroes had shown up yet… why not give his new abilities a real-world trial? He manipulated the light around him, making himself invisible to everyone else, sneaking past the officers and their barricade, walking straight towards the figure on top of the car.
Open to everyone, even if we’ve never interacted. I love new people!!!! As always ocs and canon characters welcome :))
Hopefully this is open enough for you to insert your character anywhere. I wrote this with some random generic NPC villain in mind but if you wanted your character to be the villain please go ahead it would be fun.

The person on top of the car did not look strong enough to have taken down several men, yet alone wreck a car, but Kaz knew better than to assume anything based on looks. It's just a little annoying when the villian is wearing a T-shirt with mario on it, shorts, and red sneakers. This idiot should be in middle school, not standing on a car and sticking his tongue out at the terrified officers.
When Kaz got closer and could get a good look at this villain he cursed under his breath. How the hell was he supposed to look heroic fighting a 6th grader? Regardless, someone had to stop them. He walked around behind the kid, still invisible, creating a few platforms of light for him to get on top of the car. Now directly behind them, he picked them up by the back of the shirt, dangling them in the air.
“Knock it off.” He reprimanded, sounding more like an angry father than anything else.
The kid shouts, kicking and screaming. Fuck. That scream hurt. The single remaining window in the car shatters. Their hand curves into something more monster-esk, ending in sharp claws that they attempt to rake through the invisible person holding them.
“Ggh- shit!” Kaz hissed, dropping the kid and wincing as the scream pierced his ears. He backed up, failing to keep up his concentration to remain invisible. As Lito clawed at him he grabbed their wrists, scorching hot light bleeding out of his fingertips and binding them. He forced them to their knees, as best as he can with them still trying to attack like a rabid animal.
“Settle down or you’re going to get seriously hurt.” Kaz warned. Police began to approach, weapons drawn, though still kept a safe distance.
The pain increases the volume of their screams, even as they drop to their knees. They throw their head back, showing sharp teeth that were not there a moment ago. The more desperate they got the less human they looked.
Finding themselves unable to get free, Lito switches from screaming to something between a shout and a cry, like a baby animal shouting for its parent.
Kaz looks at them, completely unimpressed, using another set of makeshift stairs to get off the car safely.
“Revenge?” He scoffs, tossing them roughly onto the ground. “On who?” He looks around the several bodies around them, including a few cops. Jesus Christ this kid was fucked. “The courts won’t go easy on you just because you’re young.”
They point at the driver. "Killed my cat. I killed him," they state as if this was a perfectly reasonable exchange. "Got thcared. Dey 'tacking me." They back away from him, not standing up, their back to the crowd, who, understandably enough, backed up.
“You can’t just kill people, even if they killed your cat.” He sighs. It wasn’t a great reason but it wasn’t the worst. People do get very attached to their pets. “When you kill people in broad daylight, the police are going to come after you.” He explains in a very condescending manner. “You can just kill them either for doing their job.”
"'Tacked me first," they repeat, climbing to their feet and flashing a bright smile. Now that he is visible and not touching them, they dart to the side, blurring slightly as they jump up on the car behind him, aiming a kick at his head.
Kaz growls as the teen runs, managing to duck just in time before they’re able to kick him. He no longer cares that his opponent is just a child, because obviously there are some children who just need to be taught a lesson the hard way.
He blasts them with a large ball of light straight in their face. “I was going to spare you somewhat.” He scoffs, moving in to attack again.
They tumble backwards off the car, sliding under it so that when he follows, they aren't in plain sight. Rolling on their back, they use both hands and feet to throw the car at him.
They didn't like this new person. He hurt a lot more than the cops did.
“Fuck-” Kaz dives out of the way of the car, skidding across the pavement, tearing apart his suit in the process. He grits his teeth, more annoyed about ruining a good suit than he is bothered by the fact a car was just launched at him.
He pulls himself to his feet, shooting another beam of light at the kid before turning himself invisible again.
He curses under his breath, running after the kid as they run into the crowd. He forms the light in front of them into a large wall, blocking their path, before enclosing them in entirely.
He appears back in front of the crowd where the car had landed and runs up to them, looking for anyone injured. There were many hit by shards or glass and shrapnel, but at the very least none had been completely crushed. He starts to heal as many people as he can, letting the paramedics handle the more minor injuries.
A few idiots try to get closer to the ‘caged’ kid in the meantime, but luckily the cops keep them back before getting too close. After a few minutes Kaz is utterly exhausted, and the container walls begin to grow dimmer.
He drags himself back over to the kid. “Look, I can cut you a deal if you stop attacking people and surrender. You’ll only make it worse otherwise.” He pants.
The kid, having been unable to break out mostly due to the heat, is now sitting on the ground sulking. They glare up at him like a wild animal backed into a corner. "Talk. I'll lithen but I don't promith nothing."
“If you come with me, peacefully, I’ll make sure nobody hurts you.” He says. “But if you try to run or attack anyone I can promise you that you not only won’t succeed in that, but you’ll also end up very hurt yourself.” He crosses his arms, giving the kid a stern look.
"Why should I trust you? You'll just lock me up in your basement and let them call you a hero!" They stand up, stomping one foot. "Besides, what's to say I won't be successful? Huh? What if I run away and go home?"
“I’m not going to lock you up in my basement? I’d hand you over to the proper authorities…” Kaz sighs and shakes his head. “Because even if you do run away and go home the police have dogs who will track down your scent and find you. And they’ll be even angrier then than they are now.” Kaz states simply. The kid didn’t need to know that’s not exactly how things worked.
"D-dogs?" The kid's eyes go wide. Kids their age always fell for that. "That's not... Are you going to hand me over to the police anyway? I don't wanna go with those pigs! They're mean!"
“We do have to go with the police, but it’s better to go now than later. I know them, and they’ll listen to me.” He explains. “I’ll tell them to be nice.”
For a moment, they just sit there. As if considering whether or not to attack him again. Then they reach out, taking his hand with sickinly trustful expression. "Okay. If you promise you'll make them be nice."
Kaz smiles at them and takes their hand. “I will. Don’t worry they have to listen to me.” He walks them over to to some of the cops and begins to have a hushed conversation with them.
Kaz is explaining the story the kid told him, about the guy and the cat, and that the kid’s scared and keeping them calm is the best way to avoid danger. After a minute one of the cops turns to him. “Where are your parents, kid?”
"which ones?" They look up, eyes wide. "I had three moms and two dads, plus a parent. One of my moms...died in birth" -it sounded like they had to decide what to say there, but who knows with monster mutant kids- "one of my moms is in New York with my parent, and my dads are...uh...I don't know!"
“Can you give us their number? We’ll call them and have them meet us at the station. You’re going to have to be taken in and processed.” Kaz explains.
“Put your hands behind your back for me.” One of the officers says, grabbing a pair of cuffs from his belt. Kaz side eyes him. They both just watched this kid throw a car.
Lito takes their phone out, pulling up the contacts and giving it to Kaz. "Don't forget to give me my phone back. Daide wants me to have it on me at all times."
They look frightened, but put their hands behind their back. "Why? What are you doing with my hands? I'm not a criminal! I'm not!"
“Hello sir, I’m sorry to interrupt but this is important.” The sound of a random grown man speaking over the child’s phone is enough to make any parent pause whatever they’re doing. “My name is Kazimir Roszak, I work at the Manhattan district attorney’s office and I’m here with several NYPD officers. We have your child in our custody and are currently taking them down to the station. Is it possible for you or another guardian to meet us there?”
Kaz couldn't see it, but the voice and the news was enough to make the man's go white with fear. It would be enough to do that to any parent.
"Si...Si... Ah... I will have my husband meet you at the station. I will... I will join you shortly." He hesitates, and Kaz can hear him pushing back a chair. "I'm sorry. I have to go." Then back to the phone. "Thank you for calling. We'll be there as soon as possible."

I'm not!"

Its mission was to cause a car crash. Agents were pretending to be taxis. HYDRA has a far reach, able to set this all up. It just needed to execute this well, then ensure the targets are truly dead. It is allowed to get spotted in the process, none of its gear is labeled with anything anyone could connect to HYDRA, they’d just think that Solstice is some one-time lowlife villain.
This would be difficult in plain sight, in the middle of the roads of the cities, but it’s supposed to be an elite assassin. It was relatively easy to cause the crash, but getting out of sight of civilians would be a bit more difficult, especially if so called ‘heroes’ (Kozlov always told it not to trust them, they’re fake heroes, pretending to care for people, they’re only blocking HYDRAs way to create a better world.) got in the way. If it does somehow get captured, it knows protocol. It won’t give away any of the secrets it had been trusted with.
Kaz approached the car, remaining invisible. He scanned the area for survivors before looking back up at the person on the car. He’d have to take care of them first if he wanted to have a chance to properly heal anyone.
A beam of light shoots from his hand, knocking Sol off the car. He rushes towards them, his invisibility dropping as he concentrates on manipulating the light around him into makeshift restraints.
He could hear the shocked gasp of the onlookers and the confused yelling from the police, who just watched a civilian appear from nowhere and tackle a dangerous assailant to the ground. He wasn’t too concerned with keeping his identity hidden. In fact, he enjoyed the attention, knowing he’d be viewed as a hero.
It bites back a yell of surprise at the sudden strike of light. Then starts wriggling in an attempt to get out of the restraints. It’s a supersoldier, so it’s stronger than Kazimir may have expected and accounted for with the restraints he had thrown.
It ignores the noises of passerby’s, ignoring anything that it’s determined not a threat. It keeps an eye on the officers and the now-visible enhanced man. It snarls, an animalistic sound that doesn’t particularly fit its appearance.
The restrains aren’t particularly strong but they are hot, burning whatever fabric and skin they make contact with.
He does his best to hold the assailant down, pressing his knee into their back, struggling to keep it in check. Clearly it has some sort of enhanced strength to be holding its own against a man with his build.
While Kaz had them mostly restrained, a few first responders began to rush in to assist. Kaz scowled, he wouldn’t be able to keep them down much longer, and now these idiots had just decided to make themselves another target. “WAIT!” He shouts out them, trying to keep from getting to close as his handle over the assassin waned.
It hisses at the burning sensation of the restraints, thankful that it lands on armor (its burning through that, it needs to get out, the heat getting more and more uncomfortable by the second-). It struggles more. At least the man doesn’t seem to be a supersoldier, making its job a tad easier for this part.
Once it does get up, metal claws are slashing at the man’s face (careful not to aim for the eyes, yet). He must be a mutant, it’ll have to tell the superiors about him… with training, he could be a good addition to the organization. It’s not the judge of such things, but still… and he must be a new superhero, or just foolish, considering he didn’t wear a mask. Easier to track down.
“Agh!!-” he yelps in pain, his hand shooting up to cover his bleeding face. The wounds glow and begin to close up as he scrambles away from them. This would be the moment where any sane person realizes they can’t take on what it clearly a highly trained opponent with absolute no experience of their own. But Kaz is not sane; his ego is a superpower in of itself.
He puts up a protective barrier around himself, the white light generating a great deal of heat, preventing Sol from getting too close again. Panting heavily, he forces himself to keep the barrier up as he creates a few more small laser beams of light and aims them directly at its chest. He’s already exhausted, be he ignores it. He’s not losing.
It huffs as it watches him back off. A newbie, then. It backs away from the barrier and the man, not eager to feel the heat of whatever his abilities are again. It cannot fail to some new hero, especially one that doesn’t have the tactical ability to know to wear a mask.
Its reaction times have been tested time and time again. It’s been instructed to block bullets, strikes, the like with the titanium arms it was equipped with. This time is no different… Something quickly seems off with its arms, though.
Kazimir curses as Sol uses it’s arms to block his attack. It must have some sort of special armor or enhanced durability. It was obvious that Kaz’s strength alone wouldn’t be enough, but he’d never been a man who relied on brute force. True power was mostly based on intelligence, and Kaz has no doubt he outranked everyone in that regard.
He’d noticed Sol’s focus remained solely on him, even as the others had rushed in to help. So he keeps their attention on him, drawing the assassin away from the wreck and the injured person. Behind Sol, he creates an image of an arrow pointing to the victim. The message was clear and the people rushing in went over to help them, staying clear of the fight as they worked to extract them as quickly and safely as possible.
It continues after him. Now that it has some space, it grabs a handgun and starts firing at him as it approaches. Unfortunate. It’s not sure if any Superiors would like the strange man intact, but at this point, he is far too obstructive to its actual mission, and needs to be eliminated, or chased off, at the very least.
It’s focused on its new target for now. It has time to deal with the original mission later, as long as no backup beyond the non-enhanced responders.
As soon as gunshots are fired everyone moves even quicker, the crowd disperses, screaming and taking cover in nearby buildings. More police flood the area, many of which are carrying assault rifles and begin to fire at Sol.
Kaz creates a shield of light, all but one of the bullets burning up as they make contact with the wall. The other lands in his bicep, making him grunt in pain and stagger backwards onto the ground, clutching the wound. He encases himself fully inside the light, looking back at the car where the victim used to be. Now it’s just the car and a pool of blood. He watches the ambulance speed away, its sirens drowned out by the dozens of others in the area. Hopefully they’d survive, thanks to Kaz.
It’s hard to know now, but he wonders if that person had been targeted specifically. All the other deaths were of first responders who’d likely been trying to stop the assailant or aid the victim. If that were the case and the victim was targeted, they’d hopefully have an idea about who’d be after them and could get away once they’ve been treated.
It quickly moves to cover, both the temporary and original targets forgotten. It can’t leave any evidence of HYDRA at the scene, and it’s pretty sure a body and maybe blood would be evidence of something.
It starts trying to fire at its own attackers, occasionally glancing back at the enhanced man, then to towards the ambulance. It needs to take down the target still. It can’t fail its mission… It darts towards an alleyway.
While Sol is focused on dodging the police’s fire he removed his shield, focusing his energy instead on healing himself. He collapses against the wall, utterly exhausted and slightly dazed from the blood loss.
By now the ambulance is out of sight, heading to the nearest hospital for treatment. He watches Sol run off towards the alleyway, but doesn’t follow yet. If whoever is in the ambulance is being targeted, the assassin’s next step would naturally be to go to the nearest hospital. He’ll make sure that’s virtually impossible.
It climbs the building, metal claws digging into the brick, using its enhanced strength to drag its way upwards. Then, it just runs and jumps between building rooftops, fire escapes, any other platforms available, keeping an eye on the ambulance below. If it can come to a low enough building, it may be able to jump atop the vehicle without causing too much damage.
It’s not long before the ambulance is joined by a brigade of police cars and other emergency vehicles to escort it safely. The whole area is now on high alert, and a warning is issued to be on the lookout for someone matching Sol’s description.
Kaz himself is taken to the hospital, partially so they can check him out and make sure he’s alright, (now that he thinks about it, the bullet is still in his arm. He only healed around it) and because he wants to be there incase the assassin is dumb enough to show up, even with the whole city’s police force on the lookout.
It finds a roof to carefully remove its mask and the face paint over its eyes, putting its hair up to be a bit less recognizable. It takes off its upper armor, down to the dark underarmor beneath. Hopefully this would be a good enough disguise for now.
It takes one of its knives, driving it into one of its legs. This way, it can be taken to the same hospital as the target, hide knives on itself, and eliminate the target when it has an opening.
After Kaz had been checked out and spoken to some the officers, he heads over to the victim’s room to heal them. His healing is much quicker and that way they can get this person out of the hospital as quickly as possible.
Turns out the victim is a city council member which means this most likely was some sort of assassination attempt! As soon as this is found out the whole hospital goes into lockdown, and there are federal agents flocking in. So much for that early night Kaz was planning…
That’s unfortunate for the asset. It’ll have to ignore the self-inflicted wound for now, and try to crawl through a ventilation system, or wait for the member to come out. HYDRA doesn’t accept failure from its assets.
It carefully moves around the hospital, being as stealthy as it possibly can. Looking for weak points, entry areas, vents to crawl into, the like.
As it sneaks around it can hear the chatter of the officers and agents dotted around the building. They’re speaking about a suspected assassination, likely from a highly organized group judging by the professionalism. Am against spots the asset creeping around and calls out. “Hey! What are you doing? As of now this whole area is in lockdown. Authorized personnel only.”
After dealing with a particularly annoying attorney, Kaz wanted nothing more than to go home and relax. When he heard the sound of sirens and people shouting, he nearly kept on walking.

"Damn it, Damn it." Charlie felt dizzy, the back of her throat choked up. "Stop-" She looked down at the bodies sprawled several feet below.
'It's not your fault.' The symbiote echoed in her mind. 'They came for you- attacked you- Tried to hit you- now let me eat-'
Charlie looked blurry eyed at the crowd. For once she was removed. She stumbled back. "No-" As if coming to her senses she covered her face from the cameras. The symbiote crawled its way up her arm and past her shoulder.
As Charlie shielded herself from the cameras Kaz had snuck around behind the car, remaining invisible. He created platforms out of light, allowing himself to easily climb atop the car, pushing her down against the metal. He appeared, his eyes fading from glowing yellow back to a pale blue as he stood over her.
“Hiding your face? After making such a public spectacle?” He scoffed, looking back out into the crowd. Hundreds of phone cameras were recording him, along with several different news crews. He grinned, momentarily caught up in all the attention and awe, neglecting keep an eye on the girl.
”I- I didn’t” The symbiote spread steadily across her chest. It was hungry it was so-
Charlie’s vision blurred and faded. She was standing but her hands weren’t their own, her feet carried a body she didn’t quite fit in.
Her body, taken by the symbiote was focused on getting out. Her only recognizable trait a few stray brown hairs that had escaped the black organ encasing her. The new being around her immediately took off, leaving the man and the bodies behind.
Kazimir’s eyes widen as the black mass encloses this girl and takes off. He’s never seen anything quite like that, and he has no idea what it could possibly even be. Whatever it might be, it’s definitely dangerous. He looks around at the crowd who’s panicking, watching paramedics rush to the bodies and police scream into their radios.
He runs after it, struggling to keep up. What a pain… he was hoping this would be quick. He honestly couldn’t care less if this monster goes on to kill a hundred more people. But who knows when another opportunity like this would present itself? He has to at least try to stop it, unless he wants to be seen as weak or heartless.
Charlie was fast, but she wasn’t very accustomed to the body she was in. She tripped and stumbled her way back to the lab. Leaving a small trail of black residue trailing behind her, she clambered through the window, the symbiote soaking back into her skin. “Damn it-“ She bit her bottom lip, frantically searching for… something in the cabinets. “That was too many-“
She shook her head, “I don’t care!-“ She kneeled down under the cabinet and pulled out a cooler. “I’m sorry- no- I do, I do” She reassured the thing in her head. The thing no one else could see. Her hands shook as she tried to undo the latches on the cooler, the sounds of the accident replaying in her mind. “If I didn’t care I wouldn’t be doing this-“ her voice wavered, her words more of an assurance to herself.
Kaz follows the trail of black residue to the lab window, carefully peaking his head in and looking around. He find the girl, but no monster, and cautiously climbs in to hear her muttering to herself.
He’s unsure how much of this is in her control, it seemed more like she was a host to some parasite. So he refrains from attacking, instead breaking the silence with a soft voice. “Are you alright? Do you need help?”
Charlie whips her head around, her hands braced on the cooler. “Excuse me?” She asked quietly. Her thumbs flicked the cooler open. Her head snapped back involuntarily and she grabbed at whatever was inside.
She turned back slowly, her mouth ringed by blood. “Don’t pretend- like you care.” A black ripple cascaded over her skin and disappeared like it was never there in the first place. Her hands clutched a mass of parts, dripping onto the floor. Then off to the side; “It’s not me.”
Kaz stared in horror at the other hunched over the cooler, blood smeared across her face. She looked like a feral animal.
“Is that…?” He trailed off, staring at the objects she was clutching. “What the hell are you?” He asks, his tone sounding more disgusted than fearful. “What do you mean it’s not you?”
“It’s- lamb- it’s all that works-“ She quickly clasped the cooler closed and slid it back to its unassuming spot under the cabinet. Her hands left bloody smears across the white plastic top. “I’m human- I’m not.” She shook her head. She shoved whatever was left in her hand into her mouth and, unsuccessfully, wiped her mouth clean.
“It’s not human-“ She stumbled up. “Never again- not again.” Her breath shuddered in and out. “You’re not going to kill me?” She asked breathily. “Right? I mean thats a lot- on your shoulders. You wouldn’t kill me because you’re a good person. Because you don’t want to kill people. You’re not that desperate.”
He just continued to look at her with obvious distaste. Even if it was lamb, it was still feral and disgusting to be eating it in such a manner, it didn’t help to make her less inhuman, that’s for sure. The ‘not again’ only solidified Kaz’s judgement. Still, as gross as he finds it all, it’s not until she asked if he’s going to kill her that the urge is there. The way she asked, all breathily and nervous like that, the obvious fear as she tried to reason with him. That’s what made him tick.
‘You wouldn’t kill me because you’re a good person. Because you don’t want to kill people.’
He couldn’t help but laugh, a harsh mocking bark that turned into an uncanny giggle. “I certainly don’t eat them,” he retorted, suddenly eyeing her like a predator.
Charlie stumbled over to the sink, washing her face off in desperate swipes. "I-" She looked into the pooling water. "I didn't mean to- I- I was new to the you know- and you know- they- it all happened so fast- I didn't mean to- He- He knew this would happen- He knew what he was doing they both did and they let me go in- they told me it would be fine." She slammed her hands against the counter. Damn it. Damn it.
"And it was so hungry- and they were there and I couldn't control it. Like- riding a horse without reigns. And its wild and- and I didn't mean to." She put a hand on her face. "Its justified. Im right. I am... right. I am okay." She brushed her long bangs back, "It- It was self defence really-."
“Hey, hey, slow down. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Who is he? Who are they?” He spoke softly, voice full of compassion and disarmingly sweet. He leaned against the cabinet, his eyes still following her closely.
“Mmmhm, that’s what everyone tells themselves isn’t it? That their actions are justified?” He hummed, tapping his fingers against the counter. “Anything can be justified though, really. Most people’s morals aren’t as strong as they think.” He shrugs and waves a hand dismissively. “So what’s your deal, then? I have to be honest, I’ve never seen anything like that.” He chuckled.
"It- it was just a few weeks ago- I was working with- someone- in his lab- I'm a biology major, I was his intern. He... knew I had medical problems, told me I could be at the front of testing." Charlie wiped her eyes. "He gave me a shot. It wasn't a cure it was some... some thing- I know- I know-" She turned back to him.
"He put this... living... entity- better? Yeah-" She shook her head, her conversation seemed split between one between herself and Kaz. "Im me, and it... was hungry... is hungry and angry and- loud- so loud." She wiped her hair back.
“So your instructor lied to you about having a cure for your ailment and instead gave you some cannibalistic parasite?” Kaz raised his eyebrows while he scanned her over.
She was starting to seem like less of a convenient kill. He wasn’t sure he wanted to take his chances with something like that. “Where are you even working where someone would have access to that, let alone give it to an intern?” He takes a tentative step back. “It’s not transmissible, is it?”
"Uh... Oh- no. He's not like... a virus, he's like... living... Like a parasite. No, I worked in a lab working on understanding radiations caused mutations." She relaxed a bit as Kaz took a step back. "Uhm.. My professor offered me the job? I thought at the time he was being nice but... I guess my position put me as a good subject."
“Who is your professor? Have you reported this to authorities?” He asked, his lawyer side started to come through. “At the very least I’d consider that to be assault and battery. Though I’d go as far as to say there’s a possibility for bioterrorism charges.”

NPT: @variousvossivixens @merrymoony @winter-solstice-soldier @floralramblings (Ask to be added!)
The villain is a young woman, she looks like shes been drenched in paint that seems to be moving around. She holds a giant double sided battle axe that looks way too heavy for a person of her size. Her heads back as she laughs like a maniac at the carnage she's caused, not yet noticing Kazimir.
"See what you've made me do? Man what a spectacle! Now I've got even more people I gotta make into corpses!"
Kazimir cringes as he comes around behind her, she’s no doubt completely off her rocker. He fires a beam of light into her back then creates a few ropes to pull the axe out of her hand.
As he attacks, the invisibility fades and Color can see a strangely familiar man in front of her. Only this man is lacking his 2 pairs of wings and the glowing scars she’s used to. He’s also a lot less flamboyant… it actually makes regular Kaz seem like a real fruit basket in retrospect.
She yelps in suprise at the attack, stumbling forward and barely managing to stay atop the car as her weapon is ripped away. "Hey!"
She turns to look at her attacker, having every intention of yelling at them, at least until she sees who it is. "Oh. Uh-" She laughs awkwardly, the fighting stance immediately relaxing to something more casual and almost shy. "Heyyyy... see- uh- funny story. They deserved it?"
He just stares at this crazy woman and motions to the body of a paramedic on the ground. “Most of them were just trying to help… as people would when a psycho decides to randomly attacks the public!”
Taking advantage of her sudden switch in demeanor, he pushes her to the ground and tries to pin her hands behind her back.
"If they didnt want to die they shouldn't have taken a picture of me without my permission! Its rude!" She frowns at the body. "Oh that one I just didnt like being interrupted. Also rude."
She yelps again as shes tackled. She whines before giggling. "Oh wait... thats not a disguise is it?" She stands back up, pushing him off with no effort. "Awww you're so cute!! Did you get some magic too? Thats awesome!" She stomps down harshly on his back then dashes to pick her axe back up. "Well let's get a look at you. What can you do, Dazzle?"
“You can’t just kill people for that- or for that either!”
He groans as she stomps on his back, channeling his energy to heal himself and staggers back to his feet. He has no idea what she’s even saying, it’s probably just the ramblings of a psychotic woman anyways, so he ignores her. Instead he throws a few beams of light directly into her face.
She rolls to duck out of the way. "Ooh light beams! Very nice. Aim could use some work though. Hit me harder Kazimir! Is this amateur hour?" She giggles, darting toward him and kicking his legs to try and knock him down.
He growls, quickly growing frustrated. He puts up a wall of light in front of him, cutting through her leg as she kicks him, he stumbles backwards towards the edge of the car, jumping off before he falls.
“How do you know my name?” It was possible she knew his name if she worked with law enforcement or followed court cases on the news, but that seemed highly unlikely. He vanishes again, only to reappear several feet away and make a laser beam to slice right through the car and Color.
She seems unfazed by the pain, even as a large amount of black blood spills from her leg. "Light wall! Very nice." She giggles as he appears near her, blocking the worst of the attack by using her giant axes blade as a shield, like she knew where he was aiming.
"Oh I know tons about you Kazzle Dazzle! I really would love to chat about it but you seem more interested in looking strong, yeah? Pretty par for the course though. Gonna be embarrassing when you lose~"
He snarls, but he’s not going to let her taunting actually get him. He doesn’t need to kill her in order to win or be seen as a hero. He’d already gotten way farther than anyone else who’d tried to stop her anyways.
“What’s your deal? Killing somebody for taking your picture? Sure it’s creepy, but it’s not illegal. That sort of overreaction tells me you have some deep seated issues.”
"Oh yes, I'm a highly unstable individual. I'm well aware of my issues! But knowing em doesn't make me any less crazy!!" She giggles. "Really its your own fault for not being around to tell me to stop sooner. I wouldve considered listening if it was you... though, maybe not. You're not my dad or my boss."
“You’re clearly a danger to society and need to be locked up…” he mutters. “I don’t know who you are, it’s not my job to stop you from doing obviously fucked up things.” he flashes her with a bright light and throws another beam at her while she’s blinded. “But it is my job to punish you for it.”
"Ugh" She groans in annoyance. "Its my job to punish you. You think you sound so cool, dont you?" The attack hurts, but in comparison to the attacks she faces normally even just sparring with his godly counterpart, its no worse then touching a hot dish. She lunges at him, actually putting in effort this time as she shoves his face into the ground, rests a knee on his back and her blade directly next to his neck. "And what did I say? We're chatting. That means no attacking."
He hisses in pain, letting out a short garbled cry, the taste of blood and dirt thick in his mouth. The world spins around him and black begins to soak into the edges of his vision. He focuses hard, healing his head as much as he can until things become clear again.
He grabs the blade of the axe, light pouring from his fingertips, the metal around them glowing bright red and liquifying under his touch.
“Fine. If we’re going to talk then we talk. No weapons.” He murmurs, his voice muffled by the concrete he’s pressed into.
The air itself feels upset as she pulls whats left of her axe back and away from him. Her knees digs further into him before letting off as she stands up and backs off. "No! Oh Akeldama, I'm so sorry, look what he's done to you... its okay, I'll get you all fixed up, you'll be okay." Very clearly talking to the axe like its an injured child. She kisses the blade before putting it behind her where it just dissappears, like a character in a video game putting something in their inventory.
She stares at Kaz, stomping her foot like an upset child. "How dare you! Thats my favorite axe! I don't think I like this version of you very much." She crosses her arms, frowning. Her skin is a swirl of blues and reds and blacks. Hints of orange swirl around her face. "I'll talk but you owe me for hurting Akeldama."
Kaz pushes himself of the ground and dusts himself off. He watches her fawn and fret over the axe with furrowed brows. This woman was already giving him a headache…
“You threaten me with a weapon and think I’m not going to retaliate?” He rolls his eyes. “If you care so much about it, keep it in a display instead of using it where it’s likely to be damaged.” He talks exactly how his counterpart does; every sentence is full of arrogance and entirely condescending.
"Not retaliate like that." She huffs, sounding every bit like a pissed off teenager. "A display?! Are you crazy? Never! I'd never leave any of my lovely weapons to fall into a state of disuse. Especially not Akeldama. Do you have any idea how many heads that thing has chopped off? Hundreds of thousands! Its a damn good axe!"
She leans against one of the cars in annoyance. "Whatever, you've never understood my weapons like I do. ...What exactly were we supposed to be talking about?"
The disgust on Kaz’s face deepens, his lips curled back in a grimace. “You’re insane.” He mutters under his breath. “I don’t know, you’re the one who wanted to talk, so talk.”
He crosses his arms and taps his foot against the ground impatiently. “And stop acting like you know me, I think I’d be aware if I’d met a walking paint factory accident.”
She waves a hand dismissively. "You get used to it." She tilts her head. "Paint factory accident... huh. That might actually be a new one. Good job!" She grins. "You must really be new to this magic thing, you don't need to know me for me to know you." She starts twirling a paintbrush in her fingers. "But I didn't really want to talk, I'd just feel bad if I killed you accidentally."
“What the hell are you on about?” He growls. Had she been the one stalking him? “Are you behind the letter and the ring? And you couldn’t kill me.” Classic Kaz believing he can’t be killed.
"Letter? Ring? Oh no, don't know a thing about that, though you do have my interest piqued." Her skin swirls magenta.
"What am I on about... might be easier to just do introductions." She does a dramatic sweeping bow. "I am Color, The Force of Color. Though, most of you mortals like to refer to me as a goddess. Similar but widely different things." She moves closer to him, booping his nose. "And you! Are Kazimir, or as I'd prefer to call you, Mini Boss. Or Small Lapis, or Sacramento, or... well the nickname game goes on."
Goddess? This thing is a goddess? That would kind of explain how she knew his name but… He swats her hand away from his face. “None of what you’re saying means anything to me. And if you don’t know what I’m talking about then I have no need to elaborate further.” He looks around at the crowd, still watching and waiting to see what happens. “You still just killed a bunch of people. It’s not really a great time for casual introductions. I’m meant to stopping you and helping the injured.”
"Hmph. Thought you'd be more interested in a super powerful being with more magic knowledge then you who would be happy to help you with stuff, but I guess I misjudged." She pouts. "Hmm... I mean, usually, I like to finish the job, but... I guess I probably destroyed their phone enough to destroy the picture..." She tilts her head, thinking about it. "Guess I can let you heal them." She gestures to the injured person trying and failing to crawl away. "Show me what you've got."
“Really? What are you going to help me with? You don’t know anything about what I’m looking for anyways.” He scoffs and approaches the injured person, who panics even more and desperately tries to pull themself away.
“Hey, it’s alright. I’m going to help. She’s not going to hurt you anymore, okay?” He reassures them, slipping into his caring persona. The victim stops moving and relaxes slightly, allowing Kaz to place a hand on their back. Golden light wraps around them, closing all of their wounds and healing their broken bones. After a few seconds they hesitantly stand up, amazed by the recovery.
"Well I'm probably the best fighter you've ever met, and I know a lot about your powers. But sure, thats useless, of course." She crosses her arms, just watching him do the whole good guy routine.
While the people around them are distracted by the miracle of Kazimirs healing she adjusts her colors to something outside a normal person's range of sight. Of course, if this Kaz is anything like hers then he'll still be able to see her just fine.
Kaz ignores her comments, too focused on the masses of people who are running up to him to praise him and ask questions. He enjoys the attention of course, basking in the admiration.
When he’s finally had enough and the crowd begins to disperse, he looks around for Color, who’s no where in sight. “So much for talking I guess…” he mumbles and just keeps walking. He doesn’t care enough to go out of his way searching for her.
As Kaz moves on, so does she, falling into step beside him. Her movements are quiet and shes amused by the fact he seemingly can't see her, if not a little dissapointed. After a few minutes of walking she finally speaks up, hoping to at least startle him with her presence. "You know, theres so many colors that are outside of what humans consider to be the visible light spectrum."
“Jesus,” he jumps slightly, head snapping in her direction. His eyes glow as he shifts the way Color herself appears, revealing her to him. “Here I was, hoping that you did leave after all.”
He starts shifting through different Colors, making her look like a strobe light. He chuckles slightly as he continues messing with her appearance. “Hmm, this is fun.”
She giggles at the jump, amused. At least she was amused until he started messing with her. "Hey!! Stop that! That wasnt what I meant you bitch!" Shrinks away from him a bit. She really doesn't like being controlled. "Not fun, not fun at all."
"Titans, I forgot how much of an asshole you are when we're not friends..." She pouts, fixing her apperance to its normal rainbow. "And I'm not easy to manipulate, your powers are just closely related to my domain."
He just stares at her. “So you’re friends with a different universe’s version of me is what you’re saying. Which doesn’t change my point I’m not him.” If he really believes her is still debatable, but it’s honestly not the most outlandish thing he’s been told.
"Of course you're not him, but it does make me curious about you. And I know you dont need help, obviously, you're great, but I am used to sparing and fighting with my Kaz and he has light powers too so... might have some tips if you'd want them."
"Really?!" She grins, turning fully yellow. "Yay! This'll be awesome! Don't worry Mini Boss, I'm an excellent teacher! We just gotta find some place to spar, I can't just tell you stuff cause I forget easily. But in the heat of battle I'll know what to do!"
He’s already regretting agreeing to this. “Mini boss?” He asks raising an eyebrow. “Really we have to fight in order for you to help?” He sighs. “I suppose we can find a gym or something.”
She shrugs. "Yeah, I mean, my Kaz and I have a... complicated relationship. He's my coworker, but also like he bosses me around... and he's like a brother to me, but also like he acts like a dad... whatever. I call him Boss a lot and you're the weaker younger counterpart so Mini Boss." Said like this is all perfectly normal. She nods. "Yes! A gym would be perfect. Besides, the best way to learn is experience."
He doesn’t really know how to respond to that, he can barely comprehend what kind of fucked up dynamic they have going on. “Right…” Kaz looks for a gym that has private training space so they can spar.
After dealing with a particularly annoying attorney, Kaz wanted nothing more than to go home and relax. When he heard the sound of sirens and people shouting, he nearly kept on walking.
