              The name of the project quotes the Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity of 1905, which focuses on the intimate relationship between matter, time and energy. New things grow out of the decaying matter, which takes on an assertive intensity, hidden in its self-evidence.          

              This iconcept is in contrast with the classical western idea of beauty as something magnificent, perfect and enduring.          

              According to the japanese philosophy and aesthetic of wabi-sabi beauty resides in the ugly and subtleness.          

              Wabi-sabi objects reveal natural processes. They are intimate, humble and unrefined.          

              The close-up photography reduces the distance between things and the audience. It's an exhortation to notice what we usually ignore, to observe it and reach the essence.          

              The object becomes bigger and its value increases, it's out of context and it exists just in its materiality.          

              This is the reason why the plexiglass surface assumes a tactile value. It's like handling an archaeological find and admire its senescence.          

              The shot captures an instant/hour/day of a process.          

              In this work subjects-objects are contemplated as they were real people, in their inevitable ageing.          

              Each work is a portrait.
