“Yeah you don’t want to either.” though she’d probably pay to watch him watch one, not to poke fun, but actually seeing someone like him and the potential reactions that would happen, would make anyone laugh. “You don’t need that kind of stress.” she inwardly chuckled. “Really?” she was surprised to hear that he would be leaving, but she also figured an angel couldn’t stay on earth forever and if there was trouble in heaven? Priorities had to come first. She knew that. “As long as my family are at peace up there,” meaning heaven, “Then I don’t ask of anything.” she wouldn’t ask him to do anything, regardless, but she appreciated the fact that he had asked.

“Then I am glad I will not,” he smiled, before nodding. It was just the right time. His run on Earth wad done. He had been rebellious, coming down here, but truthfully, so much had happened with Heaven since then that the act was seen as rebellious only to Machidiel. “Well, I have not heard about them since it feels like I have been here during much of their deaths, but I will check once I return to make sure.”

“No. Not upset. I’m sad in the sense you will be missed, but you’re doing great work for something bigger than what’s on earth. That’s really awesome and I am happy for you.” Anastasia was no matter how sad it was to know she wouldn’t see him around anymore.

He gave her a soft smile, glad that she understood. He had faith that even without him to encourage her, she would continue to take the correct path and better herself. “Thank you. Please just call out to me if you need to. I will be listening.” He moved forward into a hug, gently kissing the side of her head.

“oh.” her brows pulled together in a sad frown. though she completely understood why her brother was making this decision, it still saddened her to know he would be leaving. she very rarely got to see her brothers and sisters anymore so it was nice to have the two brothers she was closest too around in town to see whenever she wanted. “i understand,” the angel nodded, pausing before she moved forward and hugged him. “i will miss you very much, brother.”

He had been on Earth long enough to know what disappointment looked like, which is why he was so much more relieved after she told him that she understood. It made leaving easier. Besides, he knew that Nyx was strong. She could handle herself. He wrapped his arms around her, returning her hug, a little surprised by it but not pulling away, “I will miss you, too. If you need anything, let me know.”

Castiel had always enjoyed having his brother around Mystic Falls but he understood his mission was over. Mac was way more adjusted to the ways of Heaven. Above all his siblings, Castiel trusted Machidiel and Nyx the most. They were his real siblings as opposed to the standards of angels calling each other family but slaughtering each other when it comes to the tiniest of difference. Machidiel had been with him despite it all. His real brother. He’d always been on his team and though he’s sad about it, Castiel knew he’d see him more if he wanted to. Especially with Castiel’s leadership of Heaven getting higher and higher by the day. “Of course, they’ll listen to you, Machidiel. You’re the best of us.” Castiel gave him a smile, although sad, one of understanding. “You’ve always done so much for me. Having your support means the world to me. I hope you know that.”

“There are not demons here anymore. Hell does not have a leader. It makes sense. I wasn’t doing much to help anyway. I’m not as good as you are with the people on this Earth,” he chuckled, although it was true. Machidiel was a scholar, he wasn’t a fighter. That just became more and more clear. He was an educator, and he had to keep doing that. To keep their family together. All of their family together. He smiled, placing a hand on his brother’s shoulder, “I will do whatever you need,” he was completely dedicated to this. He had lost faith in their Father. This was what was necessary for them. So angels could do more good than harm instead of what they have been doing lately.

Anastasia was obviously startled when Machidiel simply showed up. She had been watching a movie when he appeared, and it took a second to process why he was there exactly. “You’re leaving?” she repeated in surprise. “That’s…well I’m sure you’re very excited. I’ll miss seeing you around.”

He felt like he had upset her, as he watched her face carefully. He asked, “Are you upset?” He didn’t want her to be upset. He just wasn’t doing much here, anymore. He needed to do something again. Like he used to. It didn’t mean he was abandoning her.

even though nyx could’ve heard machidiel regardless of the volume of his voice, when she heard him shouting she turned to face him, head tilting for a second before she laughed and shook her head. “really?” she yelled back, her own hands cupping around her mouth in a similar fashion. she vanished from where she was standing, reappearing in front of her brother milliseconds later. “what for? when will you be returning?”

He’s not surprised when she appeared in front of him, a wide smile on his face as he lowered his hands and then started speaking in a much softer tone. “Well, I am going to be in Heaven full time to aid Castiel’s cause. He needs the support, and I fear that the good here I can do is less than what I could do up there. I may return...but I think for now, it’s time for me to go back home. To help Heaven.”

what’s left of paul hahn?

Paul Hahn, Machidiel’s vessel’s has largely stayed intact, as though Machidiel used his angelic powers, he did not subject Paul to enough violence to kill him.

Paul, also being a devout Catholic, was nearly the perfect vessel for Machidiel due to the parallels between their lives. Because of this, he is also strong enough to survive.

When Machidiel expels himself from Paul’s body, he will do so in Washington DC. Paul will be weak and fatigued for a month or so, but able to resume his normal life soon.

He supposed that he should also say goodbye to his other sibling in town, even though she would probably hear about the whole situation through either Castiel or angel radio. He spotted her walking across the street in town, cupping his hands around his mouth, “Dear, sister, I am leaving! I am going back to Heaven!” @angelonfirex

Figuring that this was the most efficient way to do his goodbyes, he appeared on the sofa next to Ana, completely interrupting as he blurt out the words, “I am leaving and going back to Heaven. Goodbye.” @genesiscarrow

Machidiel had been thinking about a course of action for his life for months. He orginally came to Mystic Falls to protect the population from the war between Abaddon and Lucifer, and then Crowley was added. Dante rose, and now Dante was gone. There were no demons around to protect anyone from. “Brother, I have a proposition,” he suggested to Castiel, before adding, “How about I go back to Heaven to garner support for you? Full-time. I never really adjusted to Earth life, and the angels up there value me. They will listen to me.”

“Guess that’s what happens when you hang around angels so much.” Lately that had been her main source of company. No surprise to her. “Then it’s a day.” It sounded fun and they’d both get to explore something new. Why not? When the waitress arrived with drinks and the pepperoni pizza, the young witch gestured for him to go first. “After you.”

“Oh, so you have more than one angel friend?” he asked, a bit amused. It had to be either Castiel, or Nyx then, right? He smiled at her, nodding, “A day trip. To the west coast. I will make that time constraint happen.” Machidiel looked at the hot pizza pie, before picking up a slice, and then a fork and knife, cutting himself a dainty bite and placing it in his mouth. It wasn’t as bland as some of the other things he had tried down here. It was, in comparison, very good. “This tastes like fat. But it is good.”

grace would go out of her way to protect the citizens of mystic falls in whichever way she saw fit. and if meant camping out inside of a stranger’s home to make sure of it, she would be there. “ they’ll understand, ” she nodded, knowing very well she could lose her job over something that wasn’t made official or passed through a bunch of paperwork first. but she was worried about his claims and if what he was saying was true then she’d do anything to help. “ i’ll be there, okay ? tonight. ”

“Alright, thank you so much. I really am worried about them,” Machidiel told her, having no idea of the depravity of human sexual intercourse. “I can keep you company, if you would like. Since I am bringing you out of the station for that purpose.” Machidiel thought for a moment, trying to reason to himself what humans liked. “I can bring snacks, such as cheese puffs,” he suggested.

“I’m not surprised.” she smiled, happy to hear that he would tell her either way. “Most people aren’t accustomed to people appearing in front of their face, that usually happens in horror films and nine times out of ten they die.” which she found to be true, either of heart failure or the person before them was a serial killer. Even Maddie herself, didn’t like the idea of somebody magically appearing in a place that was supposed to be safe. No matter who it was. “It’s not, if it was preventable my brother would still be alive.” and so would her parents, but she didn’t need to mention that. “But I accept your apology.”

“Well, I am not a serial killer, though. I am an angel of the Lord. I would never show up in front of a person to kill them. That’s so wrong. Is that a horror movie trope? I have never seen one,” he admitted. He found them to be very inaccurate from what he had heard of them. To be fair, he never had seen an actual movie that wasn’t a documentary during his time on Earth. He much preferred to watch something that he could learn from. “Well, please let me know if there is anything I can help with. I think my time here is coming to an end.”
