The Lord of Amara

cas and dean are like the north and south poles in terms of how their abandonment issues fundamentally affects their love languages

cas needs someone to explicitly say they want him to stay forever or else he’ll leave first because he’s so afraid they’ll push him out and dean needs someone to stay with him despite dean pushing them away because he’s scared they’ll leave him so they’re like the north and south pole in that they’re drawn to each other like magnets but can never connect.

cas doesn’t know how to stay and dean doesn’t know how to ask.
