So the other day in one of @lokiarsene‘s streams we were trying to figure out what would be a good and fitting drag outfit for Akechi. I was sold the moment she came up with the femme fatale concept. 

Now cop Akiren has the perfect nemesis. They have fun.

i love that in DLC Goro usually shares the previous games’ protagonist clothes with Joker (bc deuteragonist, lovely), EXCEPT when he can be the boyfriend of the protag

putting aside the fact that it was all shido to begin with, goro akechi didn’t kill “hundreds of people” – not even ten. there were 3 casualties, THREE of them: wakaba, kobayakawa and okumura. i feel like we keep forgetting “mental shutdowns” are not even deadly on their own. the first two died because they were in traffic when the shutdown happened, and were ran over. it’s been stated okumura was in bad health, and the shutdown ended up being too much because of that.

another (and the only other) shutdown victim was ohya’s partner, kayo. kayo survived, and went into a catatonic state of which she was steadily recovering from by the end of ohya’s confidant.

the rampage accidents are different, and were never deadly. aaaaand that’s all.

Hey so- remember when we were all discussing how Our Light seemed to hint not only at an off-screen canon Shuake kiss, but also as their relationship being quite intimate overall? 

Well, it’s funny, but @akirenyan and I were just checking, and after Akechi has his third awakening and leaves Leblanc, we don’t see Akira go back to bed. In fact, it just cuts to the PT reunion before going into Maruki’s boss fight the next day.

Which means, there’s a whole space of time it didn’t show us where said kiss -or more- might have actually happened. (Could have gone after him, or go visit /him/, called him back, literally anything-)

It could be that this song wasn’t kidding, ya’ll.

so apparently since all your party members are following your instructions in battle (assuming you have direct commands on) they now make comments if you hesitate, making it feel more realistic. normally they are like “what’s the plan?” “what should I do?” “I’m ready whenever!” but when it’s Goro in third semester, who follows Joker all the same and does as he’s told, he’s still not quite used to holding himself back even in just this sense, and clearly thinks more of it as being equals with Akira. Thanks to that, his lines end up being more like

“Make a decision!”

or

“Up to you, dear leader”

and I. I love him

I want to talk about the (english) lines I’ve encountered while having Akechi as navi in 3rd semester, regarding Akira.

first I just want to say some of the following sound and ARE ridiculously horny flirty, to a point where at one point my jaw literally dropped as I got them, while others just about made me cry and scream, and I wish I could provide audio proof of just how they sound but for now just take the lines themselves because it’s the best I can do :’)

“Joker downed an enemy. I’ve gotta keep up!”

“Daaamn, Joker! You wiped them out!”

“Hahaha, that’s what I like to see, Joker!”

“That’s it, Joker! It’s time to kill!”

and now on to the moments Joker’s health gets dangerously low - aka I wanna die.mp3

“Watch it, Joker! You’re at death’s door!”

“Joker, if you die now, I… I’ll kill you again myself!”

and I want to point the last one out, as it’s been going around since the Japanese version, but in this case they added HESITATION, which absolutely destroyed me. This time it doesn’t only come across as Goro being so worried he resorts to threatening him, but it implies he was going to say something entirely different at first, and his tone starts off more frustrated/soft before such a Pause, and then it gets just slightly angrier, like,,, g oddamn; he. loves. him. so. much. (also good time to point out the first one sounds urgent and worried, too.)

I will provide a screenshot of the last one in the very least, but you’ll have to excuse the horrid quality as I basically frantically closed the game and opened it again with my phone in hand just so I could take SOME kind of picture of my tv, while also crying

anyway I wasnt interested in scramble as of late but now I can say for sure I'm not.

it's not even necessarily just the fact that Goro or Sumi aren't in it, not even Mentioned (although that's a major turn off for sure because it feels inconsistent and I just think atlus is stupid for working on both games separately and creating a non-canon cashgrab I'm sorry-) but based on the feedback and what I've seen from it and the general story just... I'm incredibly underwhelmed on that front, especially after Royal.
