By now, Iris was pretty sure Skye was just teasing her. She knew that the things she did made Iris feel warm and fuzzy inside, yet did nothing to give in to the silent pleads from the other female. How mean. She’s momentarily distracted by the question and begins talking about the movie, “Well, it’s actually a about a snail who gains power, and then he becomes really fast—”

Now we’re talking. Iris can’t help but smile a little when her friend pulls back and tries to talk her way out of the kisses, but what was done was done, and Iris knew they were on the same page about the whole thing. Skye was right in her reasoning, Iris had been asking for kisses the past few minutes, and she was surprised her friend only realized that now.

“Nothing,” she replies quickly, because she can’t be bothered with movie talks anymore, before she sits up from her position and turns around, throwing a leg over Skye’s body, straddling her in the process. Without a word, she wraps her arms around Skye’s neck and presses their lips firmly together.

The lip biting did things to Iris. Every little thing that Skye did, from the lip biting, to the warm finger tips grazing her cheek in affection, and being so close to her friend, it made Iris feel something inside. It was an indescribable feeling, a warm feeling, a good feeling, and she wanted to feel more of it. Iris unconsciously licked her lips, her eyes occasionally flickered down to Skye’s lips as the latter talked, and she was pretty sure that really, really wanted to kiss her now, and if Skye didn’t initiate something, Iris would probably make the first move.

A small chuckle followed suit and she shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly. She wasn’t really the movie type, so it was natural for her to not have any favorites. She has to think back to the last time when she watched a movie, and realizes that it was quite a long time ago. “I think the last movie I saw was… Turbo? Yeah, I think it was,” she nods, as if to confirm her own thoughts, “It’s an animated movie, and it was really cute! You should totally watch it sometime.”

It was actually an experiment -- she wanted to know if it was just a habit -- but she noticed that it wasn’t after all. A sly smirk curling on the side of her lips upon the realization. She was observing Iris’ little gestures as she talk. But why was she kept glancing on her lips -- it made her more conscious but at the same time -- she felt like teasing her more. She wasn’t so sure why though.

“Oh... I like animated movies! What’s it about?” she blinks, gaze remained at her. 

Oh yeah right, she haven’t got her payback yet (she just remembered it now), and so as she waited for the other to spoke she took the chance to give her a kiss on the cheek. “That’s for earlier.” she said almost instantly after she leaned back. “And --” as the words slipped out of her tongue, she immediately stole a peck on her lips, leaning back almost instantly after. “That’s for um --” she paused, trying to think of a reason but unfortunate for her, she couldn’t think of any. 

“You look like you’re asking for it so --” she bit her bottom lip, trying suppress the grin that wanted to graze on her lips. “So um, uh -- what were you saying again?” she asked, clearly changing the topic.

Iris lets out a soft gasp when her friend suddenly pinches her cheek, obviously had not seen it coming. She furrows her eyebrows, glaring at Skye and sticks out her tongue in response. She could’ve done so much more as a little revenge but decided to hear her out on the movie plot instead. The payback could wait till later. They did have the whole night to themselves, after all.

She registers every word that leaves Skye’s mouth though her eyes occasionally kept drifting towards the latter’s lips as she spoke. Iris couldn’t help herself, she was curious to know how they felt. “Ah, that’s a sad movie!” she exclaims when Skye was done talking, “I’m pretty sure I would’ve cried if I saw the whole thing. Good thing I didn’t though, I don’t really feel like crying tonight.”

Her eyes goes back to meet Skye’s when a question is asked and she smiles a little, staring into the air as she thinks about an answer, her index finger brought up to her chin, tapping it, “Hmm… You know, I don’t really have a favorite movie, to be honest.” She says after a while, “I think I just like whatever movie I saw last. I mean, I like all kinds of movies,” ending her sentence with a laugh.

Seeing her reaction was really amusing to Skye, and it just gives her the urge to pinch her cheek once more but she resisted. Her lips pursed into a thin line, trying to suppress the grin that wanted to form on her lips, and again -- the urge to kiss the other’s cheek. 

Skye did noticed the continuous stares the other was giving on her lips -- though she thinks it was pretty normal since she was talking and some people did have the habit of staring at someone’s lips while talking so she thought it was just a habit of Iris. But -- she couldn’t help but to feel conscious though and so she bit her bottom lip, feeling rather embarrassed about it. (there’s nothing to feel embarrassed, really -- or maybe she was just making up excuses and maybe she just wanted to tease the other after all.)

Her own pair of orbs staring directly at Iris as she spoke, her hand still on the latter’s cheek -- fingers tips grazing her soft skin -- drifting towards her chin. “Wow-- this is probably the first time i’ve met someone who didn’t have a specific favorite movie.” she chuckles. “So what’s the last movie you’ve seen then? Besides the movie we almost watched, of course.”

Iris’ lips stretches out in a smile, teeth showing as she watches Skye carefully. It didn’t seem like her friend minded being kissed though at the same time it did seem like she was a little reserved about it as well. Iris didn’t want things to become awkward between them, so even though she wanted to press another kiss against Skye’s cheek (or even lips) she refrained from doing so.

The conversation falls back to the meteor shower, and eventually, the movie as well, which they both had completely forgotten till now. A small laugh escapes her pink lips and she nods her head. Truthfully, she wasn’t really in the mood for watching a movie and since it didn’t seem like any of them were paying attention anyway, it would probably be better if Skye just told her everything, “Sure! I’m all ears.” She can’t help but to clearly sense the thumb stroking her cheek in affection, and she hopes that Skye never stops because Iris likes it too much.

It was such a relief that the topic about kiss was completely dropped, Skye was kinda anxious as to where it will get them anyway, or maybe she was just afraid of possible consequences if it did get them somewhere. And upon hearing her response, she nodded excitedly, turning side ways to face the other, her hand, however, was still on her cheek -- giving it a light pinch (probably a payback from earlier or maybe she wanted to kiss it after just like what iris did, who knows really). 

“So, like the guy earlier was one of the popular kids in school, and he’s the rebellious types -- and yeah he got detention and ask to participate in a play which where they met, and yeah after that they spend so much time together and eventually fall in love with each other, but jamie had a leukemia and yeah - she didn’t had treatment, not until landon came into her life and yeah. it’s a really long story, but in the end jamie dies.” she shrugs, a pout forming on her lips. “Ah, i actually wish she didn’t though, they even got married before she died.” a frustrating sigh escapes from her lips.

It was almost closing time, finally. Just a few more hours and they could finally close the store down. And she couldn’t be more happier that it was friday, her most favorite day of the week. She was on the counter -- ready to check and count the day’s sales but was interrupted by the sound of the door opening, meaning there’s a new customer. “What can i do for you -- mister?” she asked politely, masking herself with a friendly and accommodating look at the customer. The customer answered something about having a simple quotation tattoo on his upper back and getting a piercing on his upper earlobe (an industrial piercing as how they call it)  and so she asked him to pick his preferred earring from the display beside the counter. He picked a simple silver barbell.

“Jeongmin, could you assist him and get his tattoo done? I need to do some stuffs so we can close early later, I think Kibum could do his piercing after.” she called out.

Iris’ eyes widened slightly, amusement written all over her face when her eyes caught the pink on Skye’s cheeks. She had no idea that a simple question like that would have her friend blushing and all that. It was really cute, she had to admit, and she wouldn’t mind seeing it again. “What was that?” she asks and leans in a little closer, not quite catching the last word that left her mouth. Iris grins mischievously when her friend hits her shoulder, “Alright, alright.”

There’s a pause in her words before she eventually continues her train of thought, casting a glance at Skye to see her reaction as she talked, “… But I meant it when I asked if you wanted another kiss.”

At the mention of a meteor shower, the female perks up, eyes filled with excitement. Never had she witnessed a meteor shower before and the mere thought of it made her grin widely. And how fun would it be to spend that time with her good friend, “Of course we’ll watch it!” She declares loudly, to no one in particular, “There’s no way I’m missing that!”

Her eyes rolled, contemplating whether her words were true or she was just teasing her. “Why not i mean --” those words suddenly slipped out of her tongue, and there she was surprised with her own words, eyes slightly widened -- nervously laughing soon after. Maybe she was indeed a sucker for kisses after all. Not like it was a big deal anyway, it was just a kiss on the cheek so she shouldn’t be embarrassed about it.... right?

“Okay, cool. We’ll watch it!” she exclaims, a wide grin forming on her lips almost instantly. Her eyes landed back to the movie, actually remembering that they were supposed to watch it. She only realized it now that the other was probably not paying attention to it. “Say -- do you want me to just tell you what happens in the movie?” she asked, turning her head to take a quick glance at the other. Her hand that was playing with her hair was now on the latter’s cheek (again, another habit) -- her thumb affectionately stroking it.

Grinning, Iris came to understand why Skye enjoyed teasing her like that. The way Skye pouted was too adorable and so not like her that Iris wanted to see more of it. Though maybe she would leave it for some other time. Blinking her eyes in slight confusion she looks at her friend, “What do you mean?” When realization hit her she smiles a little, “Ah, the kiss you mean?” A girly giggle escapes her lips and she waves her hand almost dismissively, “Oh, nothing. I just felt like it. Why?” She leans in closer and wiggles her eyebrows in an act of acting suggestively but probably came off as really hilarious, “Do you want more?”

Iris silently watches as Skye talks about her days. It was always nice to listen to her, and she was visibly happy, and that made Iris happy too. She was so absorbed in her friend’s storytelling that she hadn’t realized Skye asked her a question until their eyes met. “Ah, me?” she hums in response as she thinks about what to tell, “I’ve met a few new people, yeah.” She nods her head, “Really nice people too.”

She jumps a little; the sudden outburst from Skye surprised her. Iris had almost forgotten that they were supposed to watch a movie – Skye’s favorite movie, at that. But they had begun talking and they had fallen so deep into a conversation that the movie wasn’t a top priority of Iris anymore.

Her attempt of being suggestive somehow did made her laugh, a sudden rush of heat forming on her cheeks which were tinted in a shade of pink a few seconds later. “I um -- i didn’t mean anything like that -- maybe.” her last word were almost a whisper and barely audible, her teeth nibbling against her lower lip, feeling embarrassed about it. Wait a minute -- she was teasing her, isn’t she? Another pout forms on her lips after the realization, her hand hitting the latter’s shoulder playfully. “Stop teasing me, will you?”

“That’s actually nice!” she nodded, taking a quick glance at Iris, her eyes widened upon remembering something. “Oh i suddenly remember something i’ve heard from the radio the other day! Did you know that there’s a meteor shower tomorrow? In like around nine in the evening.” her voice sounded very enthusiastic at this very moment. “Can we watch, please? I want to watch it but it’s just no fun watching it alone.” another pout forms on her lips (maybe she was overusing this gesture after all -- but it was her way of getting the answer yes in most occasion so yes -- she was using it against Iris, obviously.

Maybe watching the movie wasn’t really a nice idea to begin with -- she didn’t even noticed that Iris wasn’t even paying attention to it but then again, she didn’t mind at all, really.
