Sometimes when I’m not feeling my best, I rewatch the raid scene on youtube and it turns my day around. Seriously, how iconic. I’ll never be over it.

I’m back from my holiday but the heatwave in France is just too unbearable for me to do anything than lay on my bed with my fan on and the shutters closed. Literally it is worse than when I was in Sicily. It is 8 pm and still the temperature is over 35 degrees. An hour away from where I live the temperature went up almost to 46 degrees today. I am focusing on staying hydrated, forcing myself to eat a little despite being unable to keep much down and try not to worry about how many people will die. I call my grandpa every 2 hours to remind him to drink. Last time in 2003, around 15000 people died here and I cross my fingers that we don’t beat that record. 

And if I read anything about people judging us in Europe or saying the heat is not that unbearable or belittling the heatwave in any form, I am unfollowing. It is a serious concern and last time this happened around 70000 people died across all Europe.
