“Oh, it’s just nice to have the company,” Becca admitted. “Plus, I get so distracted talking to them, the next thing I know it’s 2 a.m. and I’ve completely missed curfew. You can help make sure I don’t do that!”
"You want me to remind you about curfew. I miss curfew all the time. But if I'm getting cookies out of this then I'll remind you."

“I didn’t even say who the someone is! What makes you think it’s going to be that interesting?”

“Not your pity, for starters.” Nick stopped his tracks, his mouth in a thin line. He was going to ask to borrow her Potions notes, to compare one of his assignments with. But the sudden realisation that maybe not everyone wanted to help him struck his ego. “It’s fine. Forget about it.”
"I'm not giving you pity and watch that attitude. I'm older than you Nick not some scared first year. I'm always here to help out younger Slytherin. Now what did you want from me?"

“Why would I want to go into the Ravenclaw dorm in the first place? Why do you want to go in there anyways?”
“Because it has good books? And I have a gift basket for… someone.”

“I’m rotten at baking too. Plus I hate Potions. We’re going to burn down the kitchen.”
“The elves would never let us burn down the kitchens, don’t be silly! They’ve very successfully helped me bake cookies and even brownies before.”
"Fine. Let's go bake some cookies or whatever. Why do you even need help is the elves are there?"

“I think I’ll be able to convince Tara to join too. We usually do any traveling things together. I’ll talk to her. Sofia’s a fellow Slytherin right?”
“Makes sense. If my friends weren’t already it the club, I’d try to get convice them too. Trips are automatically better when you travel with the people closest to you after all. Yes, she is. She’s a fifth year though.”
"Sofia. Slytherin. Fifth year. Okay. I'll ask around and find her. This could be an interesting trip."

“I mean Mexico does sound fun. I’m always a fan of traveling to new places. I could learn some new thing here and there. What do I have to do to go to Mexico?”
“Exactly. Change of scenery, new memories! Tara can come too. I mean, if I convice you to join the club and come to Mexico, I want to make sure you have fun. I’m sure it’d be better if your best friend was there, right? Oh, you just have to join the Ancient Runes Club. You know Sofia? She’s the one organizing the whole thing.”

“What would I even do in Mexico besides turn red any maybe tan if I’m there long enough.”
“Visiting a new country! I mean, what’s the point in living in this world if you are always stuck in only one part of it? Besides, I might want to go there to do something more productive, but there’s nothing wrong in going to Mexico to get tanned. Spend a day in the beaches, get some sun and post pictures of sunsets on Instagram!”

Becca: What has everyone else's response been?
Isabel: Some first and second years think I'm just being a typical Slytherin when I ignore some of their questions. Caleb has been asking my stupid questions every time we see each other. I had to ignore him for a bit. Some Slytherins like Nick think that sarcasm is our greatest gift so yeah.

Ana: Lol! I can only imagine how many you'll have to avoid by the time the month is over.
Ana: Seriously? That's dumb what the fuck. What has he asked you so far?
Isabel: By the end of the month?! I've been ignoring so may people and it's only been a few weeks.
Isabel: I forgot but once I realized what he was doing I started to either ignore him which is easy said than done or just tuned him out.
