Neo shrugged. Being a thief was pretty terrible; not because she wasn’t good at it but because it wasn’t a good source of income and she couldn’t afford anywhere to live at the moment. And she was so bored, it was the same thing every day. Either people in Mistral were completely oblivious or Neo was just such a good thief no one noticed her at all. She hadn’t been chased by police in forever.

The name Hazel didn’t ring any bells and Neo figured that they just hadn’t told her about him. She never asked about other associates because she wasn’t getting paid to ask questions and frankly she didn’t care all that much. But at the mention of team RWBY she frowned.

She remembered them all right; they had been absolute pains in the ass, always getting in the way of Roman and Cinder’s plans. She always regretted not killing the blonde one when she had the chance. “Haven’t seen them.” She confirmed. “I consider myself lucky for that. Why do you want to find them?”

“They’re still a thorn in our side!” Emerald’s exasperation was clear by the slight raising of her voice, before she quickly quieted herself again. No need to draw unneeded attention. “We’ve beaten them in the past, but recently they got a rather large victory over us. No one’s happy about that.” Emerald still had nightmares over Salem’s reaction. 

“We’re trying to deal with them before they ruin another carefully laid plan.” she added with a shrug. And, admittedly, her grudge was a bit more personal, given what Ruby had done to Cinder. Still, there was only so much Emerald was willing to share with Neo, given that they technically weren’t on the same side anymore. Plus, Salem probably wouldn’t appreciate her blabbering on too much.

Neo shook her head slightly. RWBY always seemed to get in the way, it was annoying and she was quite glad she didn’t have to deal with them anymore. “Annoying kids.” She signed. Especially the one with the scythe.

“I don’t know where to find them,” She continued. “But I know someone who could probably help.” Little Miss Malachite was a woman with spies just about everywhere, Neo had worked with her a couple times and she was very good at finding people. If anyone could locate team RWBY, it would be her.
