You know, not long after you sent Aid running down into the dungeons last night, someone saw Alice Longbottom going down there. And rumour has it she came back up just about an hour later looking mighty satisfied.
Well, considering her reputation and all, are you surprised? She was probably desperate for attention and chose to fraternize with the snakes. I wouldnāt be entirely surprised if that snake happened to be Higgs. Poor girl. She wonāt last long down there.
Who's your favorite sibling and why?
Darius. Theyāre decent kids, really. But Darius is about the only one with guts and a backbone; he probably hasnāt gone a week without hexxing someone. The others, wellā¦they fall a little short behind.Ā

Well isnāt this a sad lot, āeh? How about I just kill them all. Is that an option? No? Well, if anything Iād have to kill Potter, fuck Higgs, and probably marry Xander. Heās at least somewhat tolerable.
Spotted in the great hall: your ex sporting a black eye. Wonder what he did after he beat you up to deserve that?
No idea, and it really doesnāt concern me. However, Iād still like to thank whoever did the job.

It had almost overwhelmed him completely, that monstrous rage she had begun to bring out in him. The terror on her face fuelled him, pushed him along. Let her feel the level of pain she had brought onto him. He had the power now. He slammed to a halt the second he saw the blood, unsure where exactly the cut on her arm had come from, but knowing it definitely hadnāt been him that inflicted it.Ā "Fuck. Youāre bleeding."Ā He almost took a step toward her, but he had finally been brought back to Earth and was becoming almost painfully aware of all the eyes on him. The whispers would start in no time. Again. Sparing one more glance at Atalia, he turned on his heel and stormed out of the library, heading far away from his toxic ex as he could. He needed somewhere to hideā¦ Anywhere. The dungeons would do nicely. They were one of those places you could almost disappear into and never resurface. So, away he ran.
*Atalia stood frozen in her place, her blue eyes trained on the blonde boy before her as he stormed out of the library. She didn't know what to feel...hatred? fear? pain? Here was once this strong, gentle-hearted Slytherin that had been the love of her life for so long. But now...now, he was someone entirely different. She had turned him into this monster. But despite the pang of guilt she felt in her chest, Atalia couldn't get over the fact that he had actually threatened to hurt her, unintentionally doing so anyways. Nobody in their right mind would dare to threaten her and not expect a response. Oh, she would make him pay. She looked down at her bleeding arm and knew exactly what to do. Gripping her arm as tightly as she could to cause more blood to stream from the gash, Atalia limped her way to the hospital wing, making sure to attract as many curious eyes as she could. This time, she knew exactly how to destroy him.*

Eyes shut, he put all his concentration on releasing his frustration through the clenching of his jaw and the tightening of his fists. He didnāt need to listen to the snickering first a few seats down.Ā "Actually that was Elliotās. Probably did him a favor; blokeās been putting on one too many pounds."Ā With a sigh, James stood, hands swiping at the splatters on his robes.Ā "How very prefect-ly of you. Think the Headmaster will approve of your docked points after he hears ābout this?"
*Atalia smiled as she watched the boy struggle to keep his anger in check. It was that same frustrated look that she had seen on so many other faces both within and outside her house. It wasn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it damn sure made her happy.* Oh, it won't matter. Everyone has accidents every once in a while, ya know? *Flashing him her most charming smile, Atalia glanced over the sloppy table and shook her head* You know what? I don't think I want to sit here anymore, so you're more than welcome to stay if you like. *Atalia shot him a sly wink and tightened her books to her chest before turning on her heels and sauntering out of the hall*

"Are you fucking kidding me?!"Ā Aidās voice rose with every word, and then he snapped, rage taking over as he threw the table that stood in between him and Atalia aside, flipping in and causing a boom to echo throughout the library. Surely a million little heads had swivelled to stare, but Aid didnāt notice, or didnāt care, too absorbed in the rage that was tunneling his vision until all he could see was her. The girl that broke his heart and then ruined his life. He stomped over to her and punched his fist right into the table at the spot where she sat. Another boom, this time accompanied by a loud cracking sound, filled the library and pain shot up his right arm, but he was too far gone to pay any attention to it.Ā "Iām the pansy? I donāt just look mean, Atalia. I could crush you right now. Iāve crushed people bigger than you. But Iām not going to because youāre not worth my damned time. Not another second of it."
*The monstrous noises hit her ears before she realized what was happening. She could barely move, let alone breathe as the only barrier between them was flung aside as if it was nothing. Books and papers flew into the air as the blonde boy before her created his path of rage. She was terrified. Out of all their years together, Atalia had of course seen him get angry before, many times at her. However, never in her life had she seen him so mad as to destroy the library and threaten to hurt her. In this moment, her words failed her and she stumbled back against a broken chair, splintering her hand against the sharp wood.* A-Aidrik...*She could barely choke out his name as she stood there trembling before him, blood running down the side of her arm.* What have you done..

He didnāt know what he expected. Actually, he did. From his experience most girls responded with one of two options: swooning or a mean hex. This, however, was a first. For a moment he sat still, letting the droplets of pumpkin juice slide down his cheeks. Then he settled with a sigh, peeking up at her with his brown eyes.Ā "I was drinking that."
*Although she was quite satisfied with the damage she had done, she was ultimately disappointed by his reaction. Instead of jumping up or getting worked up as most people would've done, he simply sat there, as if it hadn't bothered him at all.* Oh were you now? I don't suppose you were eating this too? *Atalia leaned over the table and flipped the silver tray before him, slipped his lunch onto his robes, and lap* Ā There. That's better.

A mix of guilt and a morbid satisfaction hit him like a punch to the gut as he saw her stumble, ever so slightly. But that all faded away into a quietly burning rage as she opened her mouth and Ā hurled words back at him. He sat and let them hit, one after the other, until she was done speaking and the rage had kindled into a raging fire, blazing just below the surface of his barely held together emotions. Eyes icy and insides aflame, Aid planted his hands on the table in front of him and rose ever so slowly, leaning over the table toward his conniving ex.Ā āI back away from confrontation? Me? Do you want to bet on that?āĀ He all but snarled the words at her, looking to terrify, or to provoke. He wasnāt quite sure which.
*Atalia kept her eyes locked on his as he slowly began to rise above her. He towered over her, in muscle, and in height; therefore earning his nickname. While he might've tried to intimidate her by his change in stance, Atalia wasn't fazed. She watched with a snarl of satisfaction as Aid's face twisted in anger, proving to her how much she really bothered him. She glowered back at him, hate and anger burning in her eyes.* Yes, you. You may look mean on the outside, but I know the truth. You're a pansy, Higgs. Anyone would be blind not to see that.

Slowly, students at the table began to rise, finished with their lunch or with the Slytherinās threats. But James remained in his place and his signature smirk remained on his lips. āIād like to see what else you have to offer.ā His eyes shifted down and then up, gifting himself Ā a few seconds to admire what glances he could sneak of her figure from behind those robes. It would piss her off surely. And James enjoyed nothing more than a suffering Slytherin.
*It took Atalia a few moments to realize that he was hinting at until she noticed his green eyes quickly scan her robes.* Ugh! You pig. *Without taking a moment to hesitate, Atalia grabbed a nearby goblet and dumped its contents over the smirking Gryffindor's head* You should watch who you're messing with, Potter. I will your life a living hell.

Being the smug bastard he is, James enjoyed tiptoeing across the line. This time he chose to do so by placing his elbow on the table, chin in his palm, and twisting a charming smile onto his face. āI think weāre making lovely conversation. Iād hate to see it end, really.ā
Ugh. Prat. *Seeing that she was getting no where with this one and talking simply wouldn't do the trick, Atty was becoming far more annoyed than she would like to be this early in the morning.* Alright then. How about I start taking points away from your house, hm? Ten points from Gryffindor for sitting at the wrong table. *She flashed him a charming smile similar to his own* Shall I go on?

"If taking from you means taking from Slytherin, then so be it. And only a selfish bitch like you would fault me for taking points from you."Ā He regretted the words the second they left his mouth, but it was too late. The damage had been done. He pushed it away, discarding the regret just as easily as she had discarded him.Ā "Iād take off more, but it would just be useless. Thereās no reasoning with you. Merlin, you must think youāre the perfect Slytherin then, if Iām a terrible one. Youāre pig-headed and egotistical and elitist. Everything Salazar wanted in a student. Congratulations, youāve done it. The Slytherin Queen."
*Atalia faltered a little bit as soon as his words hit her ears. Sure, she called him names and did everything she could to ruin his ego. But never before had he called her something like this. Quick to hide her emotions, Atalia placed a scowl on her lips and lowered her voice in a low growl.* If I am, so be it. I'm sure the rest of our people would be proud. But for you on the other hand, at least I'm not a thin-skinned pansy whom backs away from any confrontation. You're a disgrace...you don't belong in this house.

Aid let out a loud bark of sarcastic laughter.Ā "Are you taking the piss out of me right now? Thereās no way youāre serious. I donāt think I can make my reputation any worse at this point,Ā Nott.āĀ He stressed her last name. If she insisted on referring to him by his surname, then heād just have to do the same. Anything to piss her off more.Ā "And hey, we;re all hypocrites here. So, letās go with ten points from Slytherin for abusing your powers as a prefect. I can make it more though. Just try me."
Actually, you can. *Atalia slightly flinched due to his aggressive response. For a brief second, a pang of guilt twisted deep in her gut, but was soon forgotten*Ā Only a stuck-up, pretentious prick like you would ever dare to take points away from his own house. What kind of Slytherin are you?! *She shook her head in disbelief* So if this is how you want to play. Fine. Twenty points FOR Slytherin for having at least one decent prefect who keeps prats like you in line.

He resisted the urge to flip her off as she turned back to the other table, settling for an eye roll instead.Ā "Technically, if my fellow prefect is abusing her powers, it is my business."Ā Suddenly, Aid perked up and fully swivelled in his chair to face Atalia and her would-be victims. āActually, I believe I could take points from you for this.ā
*Atalia rolled her eyes in annoyance as the burly blonde continued to address her* Don't you dare lecture me on "abusing my powers", Higgs. That would be very hypocritical of you. *By now, Atalia was more than annoyed by this uninvited interruption. In a flurry of anger, she whipped around and fully addressed the boy with fire in her eyes*Ā Oh really? You're really insistent on making your reputation worse than it already is, aren't you?

James paused, needing a moment to build his case. Those Slytherin prefects were always the tricky ones. Others could be bought with a smile and a dash of charming words but this one, she was difficult. āHereās a thought, and Iām just throwing it out there but are you familiar with the concept of sharing?ā He shrugged his shoulders and gestured with his hands, palms up. āThere is plenty of room.ā
*Atalia leaned forward so that her palms were resting against the wood of the table, glaring down at the smug Gryffindor* I don't enjoy the concept of sharing something that is rightfully for my taking. No matter if there's room or not. Now are you going to move, or are you going to continue to waste my time?
