All a tank wants to do is gaze at the trees, sky, birds, etc and enjoy the calming ambiance
So when it notices your ass marching in ruining the scene its not completely outa the question that it'll use lethal force remove the "distraction"

DRIVING IN MY-... TANK
Infected light tanks and armored cars like to drive, and are often found on the road
Though all this driving tiers them out and uses up fuel, so they park themselves wherever they can but if they happen to stop in a town they tend to rest in parking lots
Sometimes for one reason or another, infected tanks are unable to move, these are referred to as grounded tanks
Grounded tanks are often found outside of towns, and are known to be relatively passive
We're not sure how this happened but everything seems to be fine for the time being...
Log update:
I have been following a small battalion of infected T-34's (5), plus one BT-7, near a town in Mozdok; to record any unique behavior.
At night, around 5AM, the T-34's surround the BT-7, which always deactivates its engine 1st (an infected tank can turn off and on its engine at will, an inactive engine is a sign of either rest or sleep) the T-34's dont deactivate their engines until hours after the BT-7 has. The group wakes well into the afternoon, about 4PM. Im not sure why they've chosen such odd hours but its definitely given me a coffee addiction trying to study these things.

It isn't uncommon for city dwellers to become displays, given their own spot to sit and even a plaque with their name and accomplishments -if they are recognized
Because theyre a display they must be clean, so they have to be washed. We think they like this

Most heavy tanks and tank destroyers spend the majority of their time sleeping
Some say that being acknowledged by them is goodluck
The Armament Sickness
A strange magic infection that effects those who wear heavy armor, it can be gradual or come all at once. It's both a man-made curse and naturally occurring, the former being much more aggressive.
When natural, the sickness effects those who wear heavy armor for long periods of time, eventually they become mutated armored zombies, this process can take years but when symptoms are noticed its often too late.
When man-made- or rather, casted on someone- the process takes only minutes and is incredibly painful.
The armorment sickness has been a well known part of warfare and precautions have taken against it, such as no one knight is to be in service for more than 6 months at a time.
But when we made the transition to heavy metal armor to fabric uniforms, neither the curse or sickness effected soldiers, all was good.
Fast forward to the great war. Tanks and planes had become useful parts of the war effort and were used to great effect.
We're unsure of the details, but about a quarter through the war it was discovered that the armorment sickness could be used on vehicles, an infected car was found rampaging through a small town and it made global news.
This lead to a quick reintegration of use of the armorment curse in warfare along with the sudden high demand of talented sorcerers to fight against it.
Some Infected tanks are so comfortable around people that they even let them paint on their exterior, this behavior is seen most commonly in city dwellers but also in a select few wild tanks
