Wanda hesitated, seeing Bruce It wasn’t that she disliked him, it was the fact she had done some pretty horrible things to him. Thus, he probably didn’t care for her presence much. Wanda took a breath and eased into the room. “Hello Dr. Banner” she greeted him, keeping her hands where he could see them.

Bruce is looking intently into a microscope when Wanda entered his lab. He gestures to a nearby stool and continues working.

*after falling and hitting his head, Bruce starts to Hulk out in his lab*

Clint watched in horror as he watches as his friend begins to change into a beast of utter destruction. They had been trained in what to do but it doesn’t prepare for everything. The archer quickly went to work as he sounded the silent alarm to alert the building. Clint grabbed the sedation dart and hit Bruce with it to at least slow the process down to limit damage.

There was no time to wait. To shiver in your boots as danger rushed at you with no intent of mercy. He wasn’t faster than the Hulk, but he was still damn quick. Clint bolted for the door for his life depended on it.

The Hulk barely misses grabbing Clint but he does rip the door off its hinges and tosses it aside like a dirty candy wrapper. He rips the door frame apart so he can get in there and grab Clint or anyone who got in his way.

Clint knew it was futile to run. He could only run so far before the Hulk caught uo to him. The archer turned to face the enraged hulk. “Bruce! Bruce! It’s clint!” He tried to call out to his friend as he attempted to make himself look harmless.

The Hulk stops for a moment when Clint yells Bruce's name. Then he knocks Clint out and ships him up, he leads from the building and escapes to a cave many miles away. It is his refuge when things get to be too much for Bruce. He carefully places the archer on the pile of animal furs and tucks him in for the night before going to keep watch.

A video ends up online of the Hulk performing in the circus. He's in chains and is whipped when he fails to obey the ring master.

Pepper is horrified by what she has seen. He shouldn’t even be tied down like that with his strength.

She tried to use Jarvis to find his location.

Kurt blushed fiercely at that. He didn’t know what to say so it was kind of good Bruce just left. Even though he’d said he wanted to pretend it didn’t happen. Things felt really awkward now, at least for him. He didn’t know what to do about it either so he did his best to hide it.

At first Bruce just stays away and hides it in his room all day. He would get so anxious that he stopped eating and sleeping. So he’d just bury himself in his work for days and days and days until he was gaunt and pale and beyond exhausted.

Even Kurt knows when he’s being avoided, but when sees how it’s affecting Bruce he decides they need to talk. He wouldn’t be like this if he were just embarrassed like Kurt. So he goes to Bruce’s room and knocks on the door.

Bruce doesn’t answer at first and hopes that Kurt will just go away. When he doesn’t, Bruce shuffles over to the door and opens it a little.
