Reszkessetek, betörôk!
Forró, nyári éjszaka
Megcsapott a pénz szaga,
Dohányzásról leszokóban,
Új könyveket lapozóban.
Ki hozzám ér, sosem fog élni,
Ki megérint szabadon fog lélegezni,
Bármire, bárhol képesen,
Nôk hangjaitól édesen,
Sejtelmesen, kéjesen,
Idegenek dadognak,
Félelemtôl bajlódnak,
Ki nagyot gondolni nem mer,
Az én játékomban nem nyer.
Recklinghausen, Németország, 2018, Augusztus 1.
A night in Recklinghausen's altstadt
Groggy memories of last night's loud but friendly arguement with an older psychologist about Jung and Immanuel Kant in the Altstadt of Recklinghausen while Led Zeppelin and other hit bands from the 70s tried to help me ease up a little bit.
I can't help but notice the spirit of Kant lingering around in today's Germany, in every sip of beer, on every plate served in cosy little restaurants, around every drunk boys and girls circling Recklinghausen's town square on a sweaty Wednesday night, where it's Octoberfest everyday during the summer. Peace and prosperity, calm and cosy, unusually hot and steamy in the heart of the Ruhr nowadays. Great changes ahead and I touched the main artery last night. Wunderschön.
Jukebox feeder
I've always been the kind of guy who would get drunk in the bar silently, moderately then use all the change in my pocket to feed the jukebox. I love to listen to my own soundtrack and watch if people gets the same vibes, feeling listening to some of my favorite tracks. Mostly they don't. It sure looks funny when it happens.
It hasn't happened since 2016.

Dominican Republic, America`s trash, Heatwave
Seems like Humans just never want to learn. The Dominican Republic is being flooded by the mainly plastic garbage of the so-called first world (USA,USA,USA, TIME TO RECYLE) Northern Europe experiencing heat waves they have never seen before, wildfires, draught, all kinds of poverty, discrimination and idiotic political, financial decisions has brought us to this. Selfishness, jealousy and greed are amongst the main causes of these rapid changes in our worlds. The poles seem to be shifting and we are running out of 3rd world country people to blame. We can only blame ourselves. Its going to be 36 Celsius degrees today. Who you`re going to blame today?
Heatwave, summer, society. What to do?
33 degrees in the North Western part of Germany today.
Abnormal, even in the middle of the summer.
By Friday the weather forecast has promised us 37 Celsius degrees. It`s probably life telling us that humanity is heading towards all kinds of wrong directions.
We seek out our differences instead of settling them in order to find the real solution to all this depression, negative attitudes and financial troubles that eating us all up day by day. It`s always easier and much more comfortable blaming each other for unemployment, unaffordable health care, overly expensive education and housing than taking an honest look in the mirror and recognising the mistakes, problems and the jeaoulus hatred within that holds us back from becoming our true selves.
So where is the source of all this negativity?
For a long time I blamed my citizenship, my past, my upbringing, even my native language for everything that held me back from progressing, evolving and developing as a person, human being, call it whatever you will.
The beast is us, the beast is within us.
We have never learned to cage it, contain it, control it, so we turned against each other instead, blaming one other`s creed, skin color, nationality, political stances, financial backgrounds instead of bringing the torch to those who have created this grand illusion of hatred, violence and war that surrounds us everyday, everywhere, no matter what color, nationality you are.
Immanuel Kant got it right. You have everything you need.
The problem is that we wish for a lot more than we need, we strive to be something, someone that is not ourselves. We copy each others` lives, compare our lifestyles, social statuses like it`s some kind of contest. It is no longer the survival of the fittest, it is the survival of who can live up to the image corporations, governments and states project above us every single day.
They use imagery, advertisement, social status to make you feel lesser, weaker, smaller every single day. What you can become if you lose these imaginery chains and shackles that binds us to this pole of decay, negativity and destruction is something much more. You won`t find it on the TV, you won`t find it in the newspapers and you can`t find it in our distorted, twisted societies either.
We are completely out of touch with ourselves, constantly looking at a false image projected onto us and we cry, we hate, we fight each other to become something that we never meant to be - perfect.
Instead of educating ourselves, developing our social skills, practicing compassion and solidarity in order to achieve a much more liveable life on this planet, we seek to destroy each other by any means necessery.
Instead of inspiring each other, we put one another down, make them feel stupid, week and ugly. Instead of sharing the knowledge, we have all become gatekeepers of the truth.
Truth is inevitable. But it is much more comfortable to watch series, smoke weed and eat fast food in your overpriced Zone 2 room in London, blaming lizard people, aliens, Muslims, whatever for everything that you are bringing on yourself on a day to day basis.
It`s easier to laugh at people excercising, running miles in the park while chugging beers down then quit your self destructive habits and do something that will evolve you instead.
It`s easier to blame a football team from the side of the field, calling them stupid, blind, often all kinds of racist things like a monkey - instead of getting the fuck up from your seats and try to do it better than them.
It`s easier to watch the news and call politicians this and that than taking politics into your own hands on the day to day basis in your own neighbuorhood, environment. Well, there has been examples of that in the past and present and most of them went wrong, because for some reason communities and tribes always resort to isolation with little to no connection outside of their circles. It`s much more comfortable to call the world stupid in your own little bubble that you cannot escape, simply because you don`t want to understand, acknowledge and learn about other cultures.
We have a lot more to learn from each other IF you truly want to have a better life. But until most people selfishly want to better themselves exclusively, our societies and the world they have created around us won`t change. Call me a hippie or whatever, but you have to see that the patterns and circles we are running are everyday does not work anymore.
So when was the last time your city got some rain? Can you afford going on a holiday in this midsummer heat? Can you afford air conditioning? Who you`re going to blame for the draught, wildfires and mass heart attacks that will engulf us in this coming week? Christians? Satanists? Muslims? Jews? White people? Brown people? Black people? Hippies? Criminals? The guy living next door smoking weed, listening to death metal with wide open windows?
Time for change. Or we must all die, one by one, real soon in a very ugly way, without dignity. And death does not look at your social status, skin color, bank account statements. Ruhrpott, mining, history
Strange and familliar feelings on this Sunday afternoon. Walking around the Ruhrpott`s old little Recklinghausen conjures up memories from my country that “doesn`t exist anymore”. This old mining town reminds me of what has become of places like Pécs, Tatabánya, Oroszlány in Hungary after 1989.
Could be Katowicze as well. Despite the historical and geographical differences, these places share the same sense of abandoment by their country`s governments, lack of ‘modern infrastructure’ and of course a certain level of poverty. These places also has generated an enormous amount of wealth for their countries via coal mining, steel industry- the blood, sweat and tears of everyday people.
Of course, it`s difficult to compare a German mining town to a Hungarian one as poverty shows up differently in both countries. You need to compare it to the rest of the country. What similliar is though, is this sense of abandonement by society, politics and capital at large.
Mining history is nothing to be ashamed of. It has powered entire country`s economies, both in socialist Hungary and in the Weimar Republic. Like I said, different sides of history, but the same fate. It makes you feel sad, but it is also nice to see that the locals has kept the memory of their working class ancestors alive on the streets of these cities and towns.
Coal mining is/was one of the most dangerous profession. It destroyed thousands of lungs, caused everlasting backaches and it left most workers disabled for the rest of their lives. None of them are rich, but they do have a culture, history and heritage that has been kept alive by the most dedicated people that knows very well what it means to pack 16 tons a day. Glückauf! Jószerencsét!

Temeti a jövôt a sok szerencsétlen.
