the fact that almost no pubs in my area are wheelchair accessible (most of them genuinely have steps). it's like they think wheelchair users don't wanna go down the pub

I think this is more just general ableism, mostly because most pubs/bars like pubs I've seen are pretty old and the steps are just there because it made it so no water got in when it rained.

Not fixing it now is definitely ableism, but probably more in the fact of the system forgetting disabled people again in general.
