note: here you go, anon! :) i had fun writing this. i love taking a break from the angsty fics i have, and writing these cute little drabbles! hope you like it :) i made it Nouis, ‘cause i simply adore the friendship those two have!
When Louis walked into the lounge that morning, the first thing he saw was the tufts of blonde, with brown roots, hair on the couch. The older lad grinned fondly, as he leaned over the back of the couch and pressed a kiss to Niall’s temple.
“Morning, Nialler,” Louis chirped, feeling the boy grin sleepily, “Been awake long, babe?” He asked, walking around to take a seat on the couch next to Niall. The younger man took that opportunity to curl up against him.
“Mmm, not long…maybe a half hour…” The Irishman replied, yawning cutely. Louis wrapped him up in a hug and kissed his hair. Niall had one of Harry’s jumpers on, it being a bit too large on him, but the Irishman loved it, nonetheless.
Louis noticed the sleeves were pulled over his hands, making cute little sweater paws, and he cooed. Niall looked up at him, then down to his hands, and blushed, hiding his face in Louis’ chest. The older lad chuckled, “You’re so cute, Ni,” He said, rubbing his hand up and down Niall’s arm.
“Shuddup, Lou,” The younger lad grumbled, only earning another laugh, and a kiss on the head, “I can be tough if I need to be!” He exclaimed, trying and failing to keep a straight face.
“Yeah, as tough as a kitten,” Louis joked, and Niall pouted, but quickly joining in with the laughter, “Let us have our cute baby for a while longer before you go all tiger on us, yeah?” Louis joked.
“Love you, Lou,” Niall whispered once the jokes and laughter died down, and he snuggled back into Louis. He was fast asleep in seconds.
Louis looked down at him, a look of pure love and adoration in his eyes as he cuddled the man closer, “Love you so much, Nialler,” He whispered, and that was how the other lads found them an hour later, both lads fast asleep, cuddled together. Niall’s sweater paws still clutched tightly in his fists.
