The moment Kit found out about Hannah’s attempt, he rushed home. It was the only thing that mattered to him now. One of his oldest and best friends attempted to take HER OWN LIFE. Something HE should have seen coming, something he was blind to due to his own selfish needs and desires. When he arrived she was asleep, and all he did was wait. Sitting with the Bakers, watching the clock as the minutes ticked on. It felt like an eternity but finally, the doctor came and gave him permission to visit the little one. 

He didn’t even waste a second. Following the doctor as closely as possible before entering the room and looking over the girl with a frightened gaze. “Jesus Christ, Hannah.” He breathed, head slowly cocking to the side as he took long strides toward her. “I’m so fucking happy you’re alive.” With every word he drew closer, before carefully bending down and giving her a tight hug, even if she didn’t want it.

“Ryan fucking Shaver. I never thought I’d see you come and hang out with us lowlives.” Kit’s got humor laced in his words as he took a step closer to the other, a brow slowly lifting.

HONESTLY Kit wasn’t a big cook, but when he was in highschool he took Etta’s classes simply because... Well, look at her. She was beautiful then, and she’s even more beautiful now. Not to mention, she was a great shoulder to lean on when Hannah’s memories flashed through his thoughts and brought him down.
