Hello Friends, Here is the full theme from “The Flower.” Enjoy!
-Andy Bean
Soooo you uploading them songs or what I've been waiting for ever to make my ring tone let's get awesome
Glad you enjoy the music, but here’s a pro tip: huffy, impatient-sounding follow-up requests do not speed up the process! And may actually, per Disney politeness rules, send your request to the back of the line! (Just kidding, it’s not a Disney rule, it’s mine!)
Truth be told, the tracks require a bit of processing before I’m comfortable posting them as standalone songs. I’m working on a few other projects right now and haven’t had time to post WOY stuff. I’ll get to requests when I can.
Til then, patience my child, patience.
Even if everything was amazing in Wander Over Yonder, the musics were part of it's greatness. You did a fine, great, huge, musical job. (The final was amazing. Your team did a great work, and I'll make sure to raise my children with this show.)
Thanks!
Your work is fantastic. The music you produce touches hears, it's! So well thought out! Thank you for your passion and hard work
Thanks!
Hey, I just want to say you're supremely talented, and I'm a huge fan of your work in Wander Over Yonder (its actually the reason I just got my first banjo :) When you post the music from the show, how hard do you think it will be for a beginner to learn?
That’s great! I play a tenor banjo on the show and not all the fingerings translate very well to a 5-string banjo. So, some of the tunes might be tricky to learn. One hint: I write A LOT of the banjo music for Wander in the key of C.
When you have the time, could you please post the main score from 'The Flower'? It's just so pretty, even if it's a bittersweet tune.
Sure! Might be a while. But, it’s on the to-do list.
I absolutely love all the work you've put into WOY's music, you're definitely The Greatest!! I'd really love to be able to hear a clean version of Commander Peepers' theme someday, the one that goes "COMMANDER PEEEPEEERSSS". Would that be possible, even if it's just a short piece?
Maybe, but I think it’s only like 10 sec long.
Can I make a request for the background music from the Heebie Jeebies where Wander and Sylvia trying to protect each other?....That's so beautiful;v ;
Request noted. it’s on the to-do list.
Could you please post the carnival music from "The Heebie Jeebies"? The one that plays whenever the phantomimes appear.
It’s on the to-do list! May take me a while to get to it, but it’s on the list.
Hey dude, I was wondering if there was a name for the song that Hater dances to in "The Rival." Its really catchy and funky; I just love it!
Thanks! Doesn’t have a name, so let’s just call it “catchy and funky hater disco music.”
Ohhhh!!! ☆{}☆ I am a fan of The Two Man Gentleman Band, and of course of your work on Wander Over Yonder, and if i can ask, Do you think to make a new album in he future?? (Sorry for my english) Thank you :)
Thanks for the note. No, The Two Man Gentlemen Band is probably not making another album anytime soon. But there are 8 or 9 (of varying quality) out there for you to listen to!
I remember reading that WoY season 2 would have a Hall & Oates soundalike song. If that actually happened, can you tell me what episode it was in?
Correct. The episode “The Big Day” had not one, but two Hall & Oatesy-tunes.
Hello. I'd like to ask, when will you be posting soundtrack pieces from wander over yonder? In previous asks you have stated that you would be posting them in june. Are you not allowed to post them before the show ends?
Hoping to get to posting them soon! But it might be another few weeks. Been busy with other projects.
Hello, Mr. Dave! I was wondering if perhaps you knew the name of a specific 'emotional' background track that plays during the end of 'The Hole Lotta Nothin' (When Wander realizes him plugging the hole is helping the universe) and 'The Family Reunion' (Sylvia's Mom giving her pep talk). I created my own version of the song and I would love to have something to call it! Thank you for your time, sir.
Yeah, that’s a great cue. It is titled simply, ”133 Sentimental Piano and Strings.” 133 is the episode number for the Toddler.
I’m sure if you ask @noveltymusicservices he’d post the file for you.
Hello @magicjusthappens: For some wild inefficient reason, most of my cues end up having THREE titles. One I use while I’m working on the episode, one semi descriptive title when I catalog them for the production library, and one official, legal title when I submit my cue sheet to disney and they register the work with ASCAP. So here are all three titles. Pick your favorite.
“133-22 Closing Scene V2″ (not the best title, I know) “133 Sentimental Piano and Strings” (production library title) “The Sentimental Toddler” (This is the official, legal title, even though it doesn’t really apply to the family reunion ep)
I’m guessing if I’d been trained properly as a composer, they would have told me on day one “Don’t give all your songs multiple titles!!”
Hey, Andy! Huge fan of your work in Wander Over Yonder and the Two Man Gentlemen Band. I'm just curious as to what banjo you play and what tuning you use. I've seen some of your performances on Youtube and can tell you use a 4 string but there are just so many different tunings on the damn thing and I'd like to know your preference.
Thanks! I’m always happy to engage in banjo talk.
With the two man gentlemen band, I played a type of 4 string banjo called a plectrum banjo. Tuned (low to high) C-G-B-D.
For Wander, I played another type of four string banjo called a tenor banjo, tuned (low to hight) C-G-D-A. Aside from the tuning difference, the two are pretty similar, but plectrum banjos have a longer neck.
Just waned to thnk you for making the music in woy so catchy also Curious how did you come up with teh song if you wander over yoder or did you not come up with it? slo once more wanted to thank you with ll my heart fro woys amazing score
Yup, I wrote the music for that one. And Craig and I collaborated on the lyrics.
Can you please post the guitar/banjo chords for some of the songs bc there aren't any on the entire internet and it's so hard to figure out I've been trying to get the chords for I'm the Bad Guy for an hour and I've only got the first two ;-;
Yes, there are a few weird chords in there. But not many! I’ll be able to post in June. Remind me!
