Treasure Island by Skye Yuxi Sun

Nowhere: an uninhabited island through which half of world’s exclusive luxury trade passes – the ultimate tax free zone that defies national identity and transcends the financial obstructions of physical borders.

In 2029 a new artificial island, Thames on Sea, is built from material excavated from Crossrail 2.

The City of London establishes it as a new secrecy jurisdiction, the first global Freeport, extreme in its ambition, unparalleled in scale: an isolated territory designed to attract the World’s Wealthiest Elite .

One hundred private museums are built as repositories of personal possessions – personal tax havens. Individual destination locations where the wild landscape contradicts the manicured facades that stand monument to their owners heritage. A culture dominated by a foreign market and inhabited by the opulent beasts of luxury.
