Sometimes i feel so loved by my parents and sometimes they say things about queer people that knock the wind out of my lungs and sometimes all i can think about how they’ll never know how much they hurt me and sometimes i feel so loved i wince at the bruises they will inevitably leave and then they give me a slice of cake.
