As a black woman in the military, have you negatively felt or experienced any of the policy changes from the current presidential administration? Or is it business as usual from your side of things?

I actually like this question. Yes and no, yes as in the aspect of it affecting certain things like appearance as a woman of color and us fighting for certain things to be acceptable and also no as in my everyday job and mission. It’s a bit complicated when it comes to morals because yes we have orders but also if it goes against the Geneva convention we can say no. I can’t speak for other branches but we take our core values very seriously (depending on whose your commanding officer)
