hi trans kiwis and friends. if you haven't seen the news, they're trying to pass a frankly insidious bill in aotearoa to define the terms 'man' and 'woman' based on biological sex. this unsurprisingly reflects a lot of similar cruel efforts happening overseas at the moment. IT HASN'T PASSED YET, but I figured I should speak up about it because this is happening as we speak.

it seems very fucking bleak!!!! please don't lose hope! it hasn't passed yet and a lot of the shoddy bills suggested by the coalition have been shot down already. it's still worth knowing about. you don't have to share this post if you don't want to. I just know that a lot of my followers are kiwi. if there are any updates as to what we can do to push back against this, I'll make a relevant addition. kia kaha, okay? love you all.

if you don't want this to happen, it's VERY QUICK to sign this petition which will eventually be sent to parliament! you don't have to be from aotearoa to sign.
no community should have to face the consequences of an AI data centre of this size. the cost is also heinous. this money could go towards so many causes. it would mean the world if you could give this a quick boost by sharing or taking 15 seconds to sign the petition!
Helloo MegaSound fans! Applications for the MegaSound Community Zine is open until March 27th! This will be a non-profit free digital fan project that can be printed at home and traded as the usual zine tradition! The digital merch will include profile headers and desktop wallpapers and there will also be physical merch that can also be printed out such as bookmarks and stickers.
