Name Change
This is the 3rd name change on my Tumblr account and I am very happy with the progression.
My first name was Reclaiming Masculinity which I soon changed to Reclaiming Authenticity. Both titles came from a place of wanting to be true to myself and to become the person I want to be. While still growing and learning/changing. I believe I can say I have a good understanding of myself and that my private life aligns with my personal and public life in a way it never has before.
I was taught growing up, that a lot of the things I loved, were wrong! I was preached at, and heard so many off hand comments, that I knew at my core I needed to hide those parts and be a different person on the outside...
lies and well meaning people who did not know the hurt they were causing. As an Educator I know how small moments can be life changing. Despite the possibility of ruining the life I had, I moved forward and became the person I am today.
I did destroy my past life, but oh so much for the better. My parents know me and love my Husband, my husband knows me and all my foibles. I have been able to be public with my interest in drawing and photographing male nudes and honest that my favorite place in the world is a nude beach!
Shame will hold you back and drag you down to places you could not imagine. seek truth in yourself and honesty in your relationships.
my new name is @nudemalestudio, and I have a second page @nudemalestudioselect the second page just reblogs personal drawings paintings and eventually photographs. The first is filled with inspiration, quotes and what is on my mind, along with my work.
