yep, it's the hollow knight, pattern also made by kamimajinhook, who provided the pattern for the hornet i made a while back. just like with hornet, i took a few liberties such as including arms for no particular reason, though it did give me a bit of trouble with wrapping the cloak. such is art.

who the hell is this guy and why do i draw him a lot (well, a lot in general, not that much on this blog... not yet anyway)?

yes, of course it's related to my novel series, what else would it be lol. by the way, the above drawing was actually made 3 years ago, so it may not look as good as my more recent drawings.

meet torin, or as i like to sometimes call him, buff depressed gay boy. the story is about his horrific experiences in college that have nothing to do with academics. super strong but also super depressed, for reasons explained in the story.

he's existed in my head for as long as the story concept has existed, so well over a decade, to the point that his personality is essentially like mine but a bit more neurotic. i can't say whether he'll seem like a compelling character to anyone else, but in any case, this guy has a special place in my mind for reasons that only i would understand, i guess.

funny meme i made several months back. guy on the right is tariq, another major character in the story. i'll ramble about him some other time.
