Draw Glimmer as She-Ra please.
she-ra!glimmer is still one of the better aus ive come up with imo
In a catra mood
hereās my she-ra print thats gonna be available at san japan next month!
One day Lonnie will be able to carry Rogelio princess style w/o messing up her backā¦
but that day is not today
Can yāall tell Iām obsessed
she gets: a dagger
Anne Carson
have a bowl of milk and calm down
I get that being frozen for 100 years is a tough thing to go through but honestly Aang should have used it for comedy more
Katara: wow so this is Omashu
Aang: back in my day it was called weed city
Sokka: Iām⦠pretty sure it wasnāt
Aang: thatās what the fire nation wants you to think
Bumi, the second they arrive: welcome to weed city
Sokka: what the fuck
Imagine them getting stuck in Ba Sing Se and Aang just being like, āI wonder if the sandal pit is still here.ā
And everyoneās like, āThe what?ā
And heās all, āThe sandal pit. Itās where I buried all the sandals of people who were mean to me and my friends.ā
Cut to the gaang walking around town, and Aangās muttering about it being around here somewhere, when suddenly Toph stops and says, āThereās a big pile of sandals about fifty feet below that cobblerās house,ā and Sokka loses his mind.
This raises the question of whether Aang is telling the truth or if Toph and Bumi just happen to have the same sense of humor as him.
when someone asks for crit on their work, ask them first what they want from it to see if you can guide them closer to that!Ā especially if itās a subjective kind of crit and not specific things like grammar or anatomy :U
or, also, if youāre looking for crit, try telling people what you were going for and what youād like them to look for.Ā that way, esp. if itās a group, you donāt end up getting pulled in multiple directions by three different peopleās tastes in art/story/etc. or you might, but youāve at least set some groundwork for yourself to stand firm on. >.>
some useful terms for this (specifically for writing) that Iāve started using after seeing them mentioned in Brandon Sandersonās creative writing lectures are Alpha, Beta, and Gamma edits.
Alpha is big things that affect the entire work. āThis plot line doesnāt make senseā or āthis section should be cut/dramatically changed/editedā
An alpha reader usually gives general impressions, helps check for continuity, and generally provides feedback to help the first big revision. This should come first.
Beta is what people are most familiar with, and often times beta readers (for fanfiction especially) act as alpha, Beta, and Gamma readers. However, there are a lot of benefits to having an alpha and a beta reader. Beta editing is things like āthe pacing feels too slow hereā or āthis scene could use more descriptionā
Gamma editing is the final check for word choice, grammar, etc. sentence level stuff.
so generally, alpha readers worry about the work as a whole, Beta readers worry about chapters and scenes, and Gamma readers worry about paragraphs and sentences.
these terms are really useful to describe what sort of feedback youāre looking for, and for telling someone what type of feedback youāre most capable of giving.
According to this great quiz I am 56% dateable, which is a pretty good score if you ask me, I thought Iām gonna get like 4%, so why am I not dating anyone š
