(a disclaimer before i go into this but i do not HATE liz as a character, i just think the lore she's trying to present us makes no sense lol)
This has been on my mind for so so long, pretty much since the update came out 9 days ago. Animal Hospital lore is pretty vague so when i heard about Liz i was pretty exited to see what she could present us with in the lore department and?? hello?? this is some BULLSHITTT 😭💔

So, what do we know about Liz? She introduces herself and says she recently got fired because a news story she wanted to post was deemed fake by the Animal Corp (which is interesting because we know they're secretive and shi). She then gives us the quest with the pictures and all that.
during the 2nd encounter if we took the correct picture she explains why she needs the pictures, she's leading an vigilante investigation (probably illegal </3) because she thinks the anomalies are not a coincidence. SURE, fair, still somewhat fair, i can see why she'd think that!
3rd encounter: Liz tells us the patients she asks us to take pictures of have something in common, they all consistently came to the hospital (even before we as a player got hired) before in the span of weeks which could explain why she "knew" who to take pictures of- This lowkey falls apart when you think about how she acquired this data because she either illegally accessed the medical records of these people or stalked them, either way it doesn’t look good for you Liz and i am starting to think there are more reasons for you being fired rather than just "misinformation".
also generally I am kinda hating the implication of the hospital gradually causing the anomaly transformation in the span of weeks if not months. Yes it'd make sense if Animal Corporation was trying to discreetly spread anomalies (because it'd be kinda obvious if the guy who just visited the hospital 2 days ago was suddenly a skin walker-) but..? why would they do that?? what's the end goal with that I'm crying. I'll get more into why it's stupid ash in a second.
4th time we see her she straight up tells us the patients are going thru a transformation and that it's related to THIS specific hospital as it's implied through the previous encounters and this is just bullshit
The action of the game CANONICALLY takes place somewhere on the outskirts of the South Korean city Daegu (대구), like, right next to a rather big golfing field actually (throwing in a little fun fact). And if we're to assume all the countries and continents still operate the same as they do in the real world (which is a bit of a stretch seeing as all the differences between animal species would impact how the world operates but for the sake of my own mental health i will not be rewriting the entirety of history to account for all the disadvantages/advantages animal's might have over each other) this city is HUGE. It's a metropolis with more than 2 million people living in it- There is NO way a potentially city wide (if not country-wide/world-wide, we see it on the news after shift 4 but it's hard to tell if it's regional or national) infection is MANUALLY and SLOWLY spread by people going to ONE hospital that's not even in the city CENTRE (ESPECIALLY SEEING HOW MANY ANOMALIES THERE ARE IN GAME) OH MY GOD DHIUHUIDAHIUDSHI. Liz no wonder you got fired this is such a dumbass theory think about this Liz
5th and final time she comes she says she has all the evidence she needs for her story and that they fired her because what she wanted to say was true (which she doesn’t explicitly say what her story was we can only assume it has to do with the transformation and it being linked to the hospital) and- LIZ HOW DID YOU KNOW YOUR STORY WAS PUBLISH WORTHY BEFORE GETTING THE "EVIDENCE" OF IT BEING TRUE 😭😭💔 oh my god bro i am getting so mad at this. She was seriously gonna publish a life ruining, building shutting down, career ending claim with no evidence 😭💔
oh and if that's not enough we also have Big H's dialogue about her to account for:
Harlow's dialogue is pissing me off here (as much as i love this guy) because his ominous ass "oh you js don't ask questions...." implies she was at least SOMEWHAT close to the truth 😭💔 son she was spewing BS that's why she got fired. Also the hesitance before saying "i don't know the reason" lowkey implies he does know and is being a bit of a unreliable narrator
also Liz is still considered new in "town"(even tho this a metropolis but it might just be a figure of speech) and is a recent graduate according to Harlow so this implies she didn't have this news job for very long. It's a little strange that she "figured out" the link between the hospital and the anomalies (which i DO believe in don't get me wrong, it's just definitely not whatever Liz's conclusion is.) while most of the city's population is still clueless despite the anomalies likely being a thing for a while now? idk it feels pretty off to me and Liz being an ex Animal Corp worker doesn’t make this better because her clearance level was still definitely very civilian like.
Other concerns:
- How does the UV camera reveal the anomalies in a way a normal camera cannot? I don't have possible explanations but i'm just putting it out there
- That's all i can think of right now actually, i covered pretty much everything about Liz
CONCLUSION?: LIZ IS A FRAUD (nd prolly a criminal) Lisbeth? more like Fraudbeth

this game's lore both pisses me off and drives me CRAZYYYY (/pos), i love all these little guys so much
all the internlings together since i see them a diferent people, they don't all have dot eyes but next to other characters all of their irises are very small (and lack colour)
bonuses of the Rascal skin for intern (i lwk don't see them as a bunny) and Harlow as an intern (related to my made up hc lore i have for big H)(also yes me and Harlow are close like that i don't have to use the titlee

I'm lwk losing interest in among us lately because most of my friends lwk look at me funny when i bring it up and it's #embarrassing, (i still love the series and characters dearly but i think I've explored all the world building i could in my head and I'm left with nothing interesting.. also MIRA is annoying to write about because their motifs are strange)

To describe Nana’s role on the skeld, they’d simply be referred to as the crew’s temporary lead scientist as they are temporarily filling in the role of another person who would actually be joining the crew as their lead scientist. They’re temporarily joining the crew on this one mission since most of the work positions on the ship are occupied by newbies/people who have been recently promoted to start joining missions on the ship or have been promoted to have more power (Red,Purple,Cyan,Green for example) and as a scientist who plays an unspecified larger role at MIRA, Banana is there to heavily monitor the crewmates (mostly the captain and the ‘geologists’) to ensure all safety protocols concerning the handling and transportation of the ore are followed before the crew is granted their regular scientist.
The crewmates are unsure the exact role Banana plays at MIRA and they never got to ask.
Banana also does have access to vitals on their tablet but during the crash, communications was down which troubles Nana’s signal to access the crew’s vitals.
extra to add that I couldn’t fit in: Another reason why Banana is on the ship is because of White(contest winner). Having a knowledgeable scientist on the ship to answer in depth questions about the ore+, if White had any, was seen as a good idea by MIRA higher ups so that it would boost White’s experience.

They have 3 other siblings, 2 of them work at MIRA
They hate when people who aren’t close to them call them Nana or Nana Nut.
Nana is desperate to prove that they are completely capable and doesn’t like to accept help.
Those around Nana often assume that Nana needs extra help or that they are fragile so usually people talk to them as if they are a lost child. This enrages Banana.
People often interrupt them.
Banana claims to have gone on several Ore+ transports before.

hey guys here are some random things i found cool about cyan's gemology and stuff
i found it cool how salt was used as in like "oh yeah salt is a way of banishing demons" but also there's the fact that the imposter's true forms have slimy residue and are squishy and stuff, almost like a snail or worm of some sort. these bodies that are breathable through skin are sensitive to moisture deprevation, aka why their bodies react so harshly to salt. another thing about cyan's circle is "purifying amethyst" that nobody talks about. amethyst is used as a way of removing toxicity and preventing overindulgence- exactly what green has been showed to do. they state they "like to kill" which is obviously not a real reason other than the mind's representation of going too far for something that gives joy or some sense of excitement (overindulgence) the amethyst isnt strictly something that the aliens "hate" or anything, it's just put there to say "yeah, the aliens kinda don't have that much of a reason other than enjoyment"
another thing is green's star sign here. i'm no expert, but it's clear to cyan that they see changes in green's personality. looking at the official definition: The Gemini symbol reflects the sign's fundamental dual nature. Represented by the mythological twins, this dualism gives Geminis the ability to see multiple perspectives, adapt to changing environments effortlessly, and switch between different social personas. because this is exactly what Green does- they're a mix of two people, really (as we can see from the personality swap on episode 10). Cyan is confused also because green tends to show signs of being a Scorpio, too- secretive, possessive and highly intuitive and value their privacy. also known as the "bad guy" in literally every film. the element for scorpios is water, in contrast to gemini's air. water is easily adaptable, going with the flow as green does all the time. also, water itself is liquid making it easy to well slip through things like vents see what idid there sorry
also look at the avocado drawing at the side. its literally greens colours are you kidding me
horrible news for society as a whole but i kinda like this game, it's so fun and these 2 guys in particular are so cute 🥹 secret agent too but i didn't draw them yet
