I attempt to find original sources to all of my photos, including photographer credit when possible. I find photo context and credit to be super important, and it's also just interesting to see where photos come from. Did I get something wrong? Leave a comment and I'll find it!

The act of citing stuff isn't a translucent process, as much as I would like it to be. Some of the most reposted images on Tumblr depict forces of countries that make many people uncomfortable; simply giving a name and a context is enough to appear like I support their cause.

I start each post with the picture, and work my way back to the contexts that I post. All captions are direct quotes or summaries of their original sources, which can sometimes be biased.

While I aim to be neutral, there are times where it's very difficult, or I miss something in one of my thousands of posts. Trust me, I'm just a pic blog, I'm not trying to push a political agenda!

I started this blog to collect my favorite photos on Tumblr, and highlight the stories and photographers behind them. I can't hope to make everyone happy, but I hope you enjoy what's here nonetheless. I encourage you to block specific tags or my entire account altogether if you don't want to see them!
