Mew came even closer for a second before backing up a little, it tilting it’s head. It quickly circled Avith, staring at her doe-eyed. The creature continued this until it got a good look at her, retreating back to smile at the huntress.
The pokemon concluded Avith was harmless (which really couldn’t be farther from the truth) so it didn’t care to bother her.
Seeing that it wasn’t harmless, she figured it would be okay to just play with it for a minute. She wasn’t in any kind of rush, really. Once it had circled back to her front and smiled, she reached out to lightly pet it. She had to admit, it was pretty cute.
It happily accepted her petting and affectionately rubbed it’s cheek against her hand. Mew almost instantly loved Avith now, even at just a simple notion.
It floated in her direction, before disappearing in thin air. Within a matter of seconds, it reappeared over her head, giggling.
