New exhibition for one of the member of the number6Collective : Lea Collet

Lea Collet in Collaboration with Estelle Jauneaud & Nadine Daouti at Victoria and Albert Museum July 2012 Multimedia installation/performance With Celina Leiesgang

Inspired by the poetic and volatile atmosphere of 'khaos', a piece choreographed by Benjamin Levy, this collaboration draws on the interest to develop an interaction with the audience through the museum piece. Designer Garance Marneur's inflatable set changes and moves, alternatively supporting, pushing back, welcoming and suffocating, as dancers navigate through a magical and poetic state.

Through the image of nature and shadows, a new narrative is created exploring the notion of memory and dreams. By using sound and projection the audience is diving into a dream state, an imaginary land. Working from the narrative already existing, new meanings are generated. The audience is invited to explore further and to interact with the piece in different ways. Khaos, by Benjamin Levy and Garance Marneur - set and costume designer. N°6 Collective is having a new exhibition !!

Come and support N°6 collective in his new show, An exciting showcase of new talent by young up and coming artists and musicians in South London, in the old F-block of the Peek Freans biscuit factory, at the V22 Summer Club. The show aims to give an international ﬂavour to the latest developments in the London art scene. The exhibition is based around lens-based media artists originally, who have branched out to a wide variety of media, to develop their creative pursuits. The show will include a diversity of works such as still and moving image, sound, performance, sculpture, cyanotypes, and screen-printing, camera oscura and many more.

The whole evening will be bathed in sound from a diverse selection of musicians. Come along for an evening out of the ordinary! Price: Free

Chloè Lambermont

I explored the idea of 'home' as a physical place for memories, all clustered on a space line instead of a time line. This is how I perceive my memories: each of them corresponds to a space. The visible part of my project is an attempt to recover the spaces where they are all stored. The generated maps then allow memories and images to find an order in my mind.

I have been creating work with a dual narrative at play: the place where I reside and the place that is my home. I collect and combine the traces of fragments from these two places and produce images with them using cyanotyping, photography and natural dye processes.

I am interested in the relationship between what we perceive as being inside and outside ourselves. Home is a place we go to feel safe both physically and psychologically. In a way our body is our home. We see it as being separated from our surroundings but in fact our body is constantly communicating with the environment around us.
