Their foreheads touch and Shiro closes her eyes too in response; Or at least she did until a kiss to her nose opens her eyes again, seeing Hermann smiling. He looked good with a smile. “Yeah.” She mutters, chuckling and smiling back at him. A moment passes and then she suddenly remembers- “Your leg…” She says, remembering he set his cane to the side. “Are you okay like this? Er, I mean, I saw you set your cane there- you’re not in any pain, are you?”

“ hmm ? “ at the mention of his cane, hermann’s gaze shifts from her to look downward. it had been only a few minutes, but the mathematician had COMPLETELY forgotten about needing it. standing with shiro in such a warm embrace --- there was NO PAIN to be felt. how strange. looking back at shiro, he merely smiles in response, leaning forward to press another kiss to her lips. he hoped this action was ENOUGH to convey his answer.
